We were a family five , and the place we got was very spacious, clean and neat. Gardens are big enough space for kids to run and play. Room got cleaned everyday, fresh towels , got a coffee to say welcome and wifi is uncapped and unlimited. Great place

All we have hoped for and better!
A quiet and peaceful place where you can also have fun at. The staff was excellent, helpful and very kind and helped me in every way possible.

I would have paid tripple the price to stay at this lodge so it's worth every penny and more!

I was booking accommodation for one of my white employee, the receptionist booked me the room and when she asked for the name of the person who was going to be staying in the room, she said oh no I don`t normally book this room for white people, she changed the room. So there are rooms reserved for black people and rooms reserved for white people in this day and time. Sies !Racist!!

Response from Gerda van der Merwe, Owner at Stop 'n Stay Lodge
Responded 19 Oct 2021
We are not racist we have a 3 star and a 4 star side.We book the people in the rooms that they can afford.Perhaps they asked for a room and did not know we have 2 sides.n Cheaper the 3 star and the more exspensive the 4 star .We accomodate weekly about 60 to 80 blacks at SnS because all the firms come to stay at stopnstaylodge because we are safe and the people,s cars are infront of their chalets aswel their braai facility.|NO! NO! NO! WE ARE NOT RACIST most of our clients are black people and they come back time and again. That was a miss understanding.

The few times we've visited Stop 'n Stay Lodge felt like been in paradise. The ambiance and equestrian atmosphere are really something to write home about! One can say that Stop 'n Stay gets under your skin, because once visited you feel like coming back time and time again.

Apart from the fact that the lodge caters for the business man on the go it is also ideal for the whole family. The vast lawn areas are ideal for children to let go of their energy.

Stop 'n Stay is definitely a place i would recommend!!!

I recently attended a function at Stop 'n Stay - what a pleasure! The venue was exquisitely decorated according to the theme, the food was terrific and served by friendly staff. We spent the night in a terrific room. The king size bed, luxurious linen and spaciousness of the room, all contributed to a wonderful stay. The best for me was finding the continental breakfast in the fridge the next morning; including rolls, viennas, cheese, yoghurt and muffins. I am a travel agent and I will definitely recommend Stop 'n Stay to all my clients visiting this region!

My visit to Stop 'n Stay Rustenburg was a combination of heaven and paradise. As a horse lover I watched horses galloping passed - as if in a greens paradise. The wonderful sense of security and wide green spaces - gave me that feeling as if I'm in a movie on a lllrange in Texas!
The rooms are tastefully decorated to give you that extra welcome feeling when you step through the door! I dropped my case and I enjoyed the ambience , rolled on the bed and forget my tiredness!
I booked the conference venue for a special function and everything was perfect! The experienced was out of this world...

I have stayed at Stop 'n Stay several times in the past 15 years and every time it has been MAGIC.
The friendly reception and the feel of Farm and Country seems to envelop you. I cant believe I am 2 kilometers from town and less than a kilometer from the out of town Shopping mall. The horses and trees give it that feeling of tranquility and something that belongs to yesteryear. Almost as if History stood still and any moment a figure out of the past will arrive on horse back to declare the freedom of the city is now mine to enjoy. This modern complex with its fully catered chalets is the best place to be if you want luxury blended with tranquility and a great break away from the city.
It's just what it says it is. A STOP over on the way to the Casino or Game Park that costs you less and gives you all the STAY benefits that you require from a Guest Lodge. Try it and you will BUY it. The Best in the West...
