Yet another return trip (my 6th or 7th?) to the fabulous Boubou (after spending too long away due to travel restrictions over the pandemic) and so good to see Marnice & Jan-Piet again and enjoy their hospitality, as well as Henry and Dorothy, plus a new addition to the doggie family. Had a few days exploring the Pilanesberg and spending time admiring the garden which is looking fantastic - the wild olive trees have matured nicely from the shrubs that they were back in 2011. So peaceful and relaxing, watching the nyala and impala from the private terrace, aswell as tucking in to Marnice's delicious cuisine. It was like returning home to family. Thank you for a wonderful visit - hope to see you again soon.

Beautiful views and Marnice and her cute doggies hosted me well. I will definitely be back. The room was spacious and clean and its a great place to go if you are looking to get out of the city. Looking forward to travelling back there.

Very nice property and nice located. Marnice is a very friendly and warm person. The garden is beautiful with a nice and clean swimmingpool. Breakfast was yummie. we also booked dinner and the steak was delicious, thank you Jan Piet. We booked a game drive to Pilanesberg through them and all was well organised. We really felt home, thanks for the nice hospitality, we definitely recommend this place.

We had a very great time at bou bou with my family. Marnice is a very wonderful and friendly person who welcomed us well and also gave us good treatment, not forgetting her husband and their staff as well. The place is very beautiful with the bird life that is so great. The garden is so beautiful, and the bedrooms are also beautiful with showers that are big enough. The breakfast was also great every morning. I so loved the place and was grateful when she taught my wife how cook quick pap using the microwave which is something we never knew.

This is by far one of the most friendly places I've been too, from the staff to the management. If you really looking for a place to relax this is it! The rooms are beautiful and so cosy, I fell in love the minute I got there. Job well done guys, please keep up the good work 🙂

Boubou B & B delivers as promised - with a beautiful garden, nice size swimming pool, and comfortable rooms. We loved the tranquil atmosphere, the swimming pool area and the view from the deck. The staff is great, and provided tasty vegetarian/vegan alternatives for breakfast. Although we couldn't cook meals, we could use plates, glasses etc. from the kitchen and warm up food in the microwave. There are no nearby restaurants, but Rustenburg is only 20-25 min drive away with plenty of shops and take away restaurants.

This was our 2nd stay at Boubou & we hope to return in the future. Marnice & Jan Piet are great hosts & always willing to provide helpful advice. Our room was well kitted out & very comfortable & breakfast & evening meals were delicious. Unfortunately we did not get to use the swimming pool this time as it rained very heavily on a couple of days whilst we were there but we did enjoy watching the birds & the numerous buck (impala & nyala) in the garden & surrounding grounds.

Marnice is a lovely host, she made us feel at home. The Boubou is really peaceful and well-looked after BnB. The breakfast was also very tasty. We didn't have have enough time to walk around and admire the entire establishment. I highly recommend the place.
