The premier family suite was perfect for our family. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed in their room . The pool area is very nice with lounging seats available. A tip is to arrive early in order to get a nice place to sit. Bar is open during the day at the pool area . You can also order food from the restaurant when you are feeling a bit peckish. The dinner buffet was decent. Overall did we really enjoy our stay. We will surely return.

Beautiful place but the service was bad. I was there for a work conference, we were put in a small conference room without air conditioning. The bathrooms were dirty, we kept asking for water to be refilled since the room was hot but they only brought water later in the afternoon after asking them several times. The food was nice but again for them to clear the table one had to ask again and again.

This time, the staff let the hotel down. I specifically asked if there is wifi in the room and that it works. I booked into the hotel to do some important work. Sadly, the wifi was not working. I tried calling the reception four times. Eventually, I spoke to Tomelo. twice. She assured me that their "service provider" will sort out the connection and that she will get back to me. She did not do so. I tried to contact the front desk on several occasions and eventually gave up. Also, I asked for a memory foam pillar twice which did not arrive. My bathroom shower glass was not clean- Ewee. Monkeys roaming everywhere- despite the "don't feed the monkey sign", I saw an employee feeding the monkeys a banana. Sadly, I will unlikely return.

Everything was great for us. The room was big enough. The bed was comfortable and big. The aircon was working. However, it was making noise. The food was delicious. Very delicious. Buffet breakfast had a lot of options, and the facilities were proper. We also went for a couples 3 hr spa treatment, and we loved it.

I was there with my partner and my 6 year old daughter for a brief weekend get away. The facilities were great, and the activities. The food was also good, and staff overall friendly. However, the service at the restaurant was terrible overall. We had to wait for over an hour for food, and the kitchen was slow in getting food out. The waiters forget they have guests, and don’t take constructive criticism well. They need to be trained on hood etiquette and customer service. I won’t be visiting again for this reason - terrible service, which left a sour taste.

Room is nice and clean. Restaurant is a big no no. Food takes over an hour for a simple set menu, staff is untrained about what is served, and the food is really not remotely worthy of 1 star. Otherwise it is a pleasant place to sleep

All of the staff are so, so friendly! From the people at reception, to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. There are a few things that need attention though ... general upkeep seems to be problematic. We booked 2 rooms and in both of them, within a couple of days the toilet seats were completely loose. The air-conditioner in my sons' room stopped working. Maintenance came to fix it, but later that night it stopped working again. Their main door also had some problems locking. The bases of the taps in our shower were completely loose. Our TV didn't work properly for the duration of our stay. We told reception about this when we arrived and again a couple of days later when someone came to ask if everything was working OK in our room but it was never fixed. The bar/lounge area is lovely and the drinks service is quick, however, it takes absolutely ages for food orders to arrive. Some other suggestions: the braais at the self-catering units should be under cover; a mirror in the main bedroom of the "superior family suite" would be great (the name is misleading by the way - the suite is quite basic, so not sure what's superior' about it); a fan or air-conditioning is needed in the 2nd bedroom of the self-catering and superior family suites where the tri-bunks are. These rooms are extremely stuffy and airless and in hot weather it becomes even worse. A "family-friendly" resort like this should also have some sort of guidelines about large groups, noise and alcohol consumption. Also about the use of hubbly in public areas. I know this sounds like a long list of issues, but despite all of this, we enjoyed our stay and would still return.

Checked in for my sister’s bday after we went for a lovely game drive. Only for everything to be ruined by a dirty, blocked shower topped with bad service. They moved me eventually but even that was a fight. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Small hotel rooms, nice but frigid pool, service is not great definitely don't want to be there. Food is awful and you're trapped. Definitely don't buy the buffet. The hike is very nice. Spa is fine, massage was not very good.
