A memorable stay at Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge. Superlative service, fantastic rooms and great game drives. Byron is amazing game drive ranger. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge.

The staff was friendly, very welcoming and offered the best service. The rooms were clean and the food was magnificent they really outdid themselves. I would personally go back over and over again. The best aha moments were created

I highly recommend Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge- fabulous facilities, staff and ranger expertise - for a short (1-3 day) safari close to Johannesburg you can't go wrong - it's very private yet highly personal

Absolutely amazing stay! Enjoyed every minute of it. Tons of up close animal sightings and the lodge is absolutely beautiful. Our ranger, Louise, was incredible and we can’t say enough about how integral she was to the wonderful experience we had.

The cleaners need to double check if the small kitchenete are clean as the previous people who used room 6 have left some milk used packaging . Overall it was an awesome trip, all staff well trained. Dumi and her team were awesome.

HI pp21 Although Spring time in SA in October the evenings and early mornings could still be a little "chilly" . Also keep in mind that this is the beginning of our Rain season, so showers would not be uncommon. Always best... More
