Fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations! It's a two star resort but felt like 5 stars! Would highly recommend this camp / trip for all types of holidays! We are definitely coming back and are recommending this to our friends!

We were lucky enough to spot the Big 5, with Koketso as our guide. The short visit to Pilanesberg Tented Adventures was awesome. Great food (Benny, you are a masterchef!), great staff (every single one of them) and an amazing Glamping experience. Electric blankets on the beds ensured we were warm during the coldest night of the year. We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to return.

During our 4-night stay in Pilansberg every guest without exception that we met expressed the same concerns about the lack of radios between the guides to be able to locate sightings and communication between them. We believe that if Tented Adventures Pilansberg want to improve the experience of their guests and attract them back they must invest in an effective radio system so that their wonderful and knowledgeable guides are able to communicate with each other in the park. There is a clear business case to be made apart from the health and safety aspects for the investment to be made in securing access to the park repeaters. It is unacceptable to rely on other safari vehicles equipped with radios for information about sightings, etc. Otherwise we had a wonderful experience. Food and accommodation were excellent. Game drives superb purely because of the commitment of the guides to show us as much as they could and their knowledge of the bushveld. We are planning to visit the park again this year and hope that the radio issue will have been addressed.

I cannot recommend the game drives at Tented Adventures enough! Koketso (sorry if I am misspelling his name) has an affinity for the bush unlike anything I have ever seen. As a frequent traveler to Pilanesberg I thought I had an understanding of the reserve, but throughout the day I kept learning more and more about the bush. Whether it is the name of a bird, the medicinal uses of a tree (I know now to never braai with Tamboti wood!), or the behaviour of animals. The biggest lesson I learnt from Koketso is that everything in the reserve is alive. We spent a full day in the park, and it went by in the blink of an eye. If you have the opportunity to do the game drive with Koketso, don't think twice about it! The only (minor) criticism I have is that the vehicles windows were not working, however we were made aware of this before the drive started and the team at Tented Adventures did apologise for it. Other than that, it was a splendid day out.

5 start all over, had such a great stay. The food and service was great. We had the camping experience with a touch of a hotel experience. You stay in a tent but you are served dinner and breakfast under the stars as if you are staying in a 5 start hotel. We loved every moment of it.
