We stayed over on our way to the Western Cape and was recommended by friends. What a great surprise value for money place was this indeed! This was a very neat and clean self catering unit, which we got and is very close to all amenities! Thank you very much for a very nice stay!

This guesthouse is one of the cleanest I've stayed in. Spotless. It was nice to have more than one room. Wi-fi was great. The guesthouse is a twenty minute walk from a mall where you can purchase food to cook--or eat.

We stayed overnight on our way through to East London from Namibia. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the room was well-equipped, comfortable, clean and offered the bonus of a private verandah outdoors. The price was very reasonable and we enjoyed our brief stay.

It is impossible to get greater value for your money. The room is a bit small but that is probably because it has three single beds but it has a spacious bathroom area including tub and a separate shower. The room has no self controlled air conditioner but it is air conditioned by the main house and has a excellent fan which can be used at night. The room has a microwave, decent size small refrigerator , very small TV and a lockable closet that can be used like a room safe. It also has a very pleasant private patio area with table and chairs and a small barbeque that I assume can be used. It is not really a self catering flat so you can’t really cook with the exception of a small microwave dinner etc. The hosts are extremely nice and friendly people. We stayed two nights before our trip up to Kgalagardi and and one on our return. The only negative would be the weak Wifi signal but at least it worked. I would highly recommend this excellent guest house.

We overnighted here on the way up to Namibia from Durban and were really happy with this lovely guesthouse! We stayed in the 1 bedroom self catering unit which had 3 single beds, big bathroom, patio area, tea & coffee making facilities, microwave and braai. The unit was spotlessly clean and the owners were super friendly. There is also secure off street parking, FREE wifi and much needed aircon! We will definitely be back!

We spent 2 nights in Upington before going for a trip to the Kalahari (and a night after). The room was very comfortable and well equipped. It was like a little nest ! There is a large bathroom (with a bath and a shower !) and a quite big terrace ; so that one can braai. The owners are really kind and make themselves very available. They even accepted to keep the car we rent during our 3 days trip to the desert. So, thank you so much for all !

If you want to discover the desert with a fantastic guide (Hein), please contact "Kalahari safaris" (http://www.kalaharisafaris.co.za) ! It was an amazing experience !
