Despite being in an old part of town, I will never pass through Kimberly and not stay here!
One can imagine what it was like in the early days of South Africa when the pioneers arrived on horse back, shovels in hand, and diamonds on...More
Not in a great part of the city so don't stroll about, but do stroll about the club, and relive the magic of the past , when fortunes were made , deals struck and gold and diamonds put on the world map . Experience the charm...More
You can't help but imagine what it was like in the early 1900s as the pictures on the world depict a bygone era of masters and lords. Rooms are spacious, meals are good and the waiters try hard to please. On both nights I dined...More

I would suggest emailing the hotel - I have stayed in a few rooms but don't recall room 7 specifically. It is on the second floor, I think it might be a standard room. If it faces the road, there will be a door that opens to a patio. In the one room I stayed in there were patio doors, but no window (if you want an open window at night but frankly it was so hot I needed aircon on all the time). I have not stayed in the rooms across the passage, in other words not facing the road, so not sure about the window/door situation. The hotel is very helpful with questions and answer emails quickly.
