This wasn't my first stay at Bishop's Lodge and I must confess, I wasn't looking forward to it. In my previous review I already mentioned that the place reminds me of a hostel that I stayed in and that was once again my impression. However, the room I stayed in was better and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep...

The staff is friendly (this has made our choice of accommodation for our next visit) and they go the extra mile to assist you in your requests. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, quiet and modern accommodation in the heat of Kimberley, where you and the family can relax with ease of mind that the kids are safe....

On arrival the building outside look of the building reminded me of the hostel I lived in during my high school years. My room was a surprise as it looked as if it was part of a family suite - I was in room 5A which looked as if it should form a complete suite with 5B. There was wifi...

This hotel was conveniently located after I arrived at the end of day, and desperately needed somewhere to stay, but appeared not an ideal option for a solo leisure traveler with no private transport like me. The hotel was priced at 795R, relatively high but it offered a decent, modern room for that price. Reception was professional. However there is...

The venue is easy to find, next to city centre, and next to all well known restaurants as is a self-catering lodge. Rooms are clean and well taken- care of, also the staff is friendly and have excellent People skills - they make you to feel at home while you're away from home. If you won't stay long, breakfast is...

Everything about this Lodge is average... nothing special. Staff are helpful when needed. Breakfast is ohk but can get boring after a day or 2. It is very nicely located and not hard to find or a long didtance to drive to all the attractions.

Excellent accommodation but if you want to do self catering, their set up and pots, pans etc, is low grade. They also supply aluminium frying pan which is a no no. otherwise a good place for a stop over.

The lodge is conveniently situated and very comfortable. The breakfast served was pretty good to. The staff however is extremely poor and kinda "out of control". The security guard sleeps on duty and I had to open and close the gate myself at night while he was sleeping. Gate is not locked so basically anyone can take a run at...
