We had a wonderful time here. Our hostess was brilliant and friendly, the room fabulous, the breakfast excellent! It is of course the place to stay in Kimberley if you want to see the Big Hole. But there are other great places to see - particularly the Duggan Cronin Photo Museum for a very different take on history.

This was not very good value for money. The breakfast that was offered was of poor quality. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but we always had to go and find someone to assist us. The room was clean and quite nice but the overall experience could have been better.

Place was great and very interesting and good, but management/ staff need to place toiletries and clean rooms in time before guest arrives, except that place is great .i will choose this place again once I get a chance to visit Kimberly again

Don't even go there. No receptionist on duty when we arrived - she had gone home. We were allocated the honeymoon suite - gloomy and very uninviting. The plug socket was falling out of the wall with a kettle balanced on a chair. Only two sachets of instant coffee and creamer were provided . Bar fridge in old TV unit...

If you want the feeling having done a time jump, that's the place to go. Staying like the gold diggers elite, what a great ambience! Unfortunately the breakfast also made you feel like back in the days. Very limited choice, no freshly brewed coffee and some juice which we called "Plastik" There seemed to be a problem that the new...

I enjoy staying at The Australian Arms whenever on a trip to Kimberley, but lately the breakfast service is not up to standard. To get a better rating I would seriously suggest quality, on time breakfast. When I arrange to have breakfast at 7am, I expect to have breakfast at 7am, not waiting for the kitchen to open at 7:10...

This guesthouse is located within the Big Hole Complex - the open air museum attached to the big mining hole. Reception was open during daylight hours and both staff and management were most friendly, helpful and cheerful. Standard breakfast buffet was offered, but for superior coffee you may want to visit the cofffeeshop in the Big Hole entrance area. The...

The service and hospitality was very good. The room was comfortable. The location was very central in town and convenient. All was good and enjoyable. The main advantage is the secure parking and safe environment.
