As the title says. I had a few days here and right from arriving till the time I left I was made to feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast choice was excellent, food was great. The location was ideal for visiting the various museums and art galleries that I wanted to visit, as well the having a decent sized shopping mall only a short drive away if you wished to do some retail therapy.

Lene and her husband were very helpful, and the rest of the staff were friendly and efficient, and I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Overall a 5 star experience !

Room Tip: The garden room is the biggest, but doesn't (when I stayed) have a safe.

Superb accommodation which exceeded our expectations in all areas. We loved the attention to detail in our room, the warmth, peacefulness, cleanliness and the fantastic hearty breakfast. Our hostess has her finger on the pulse of this establishment which makes it shine above the rest. Definitely the best accommodation we have stayed in in South Africa.

We traveled to Kimberley for a brief vacation and were looking for a place to stay. We prefer AirBnBs but there really aren’t many in the area. We wanted something with a little more space for a family of three and chose 75 on Millner based on the excellent reviews. We’re glad we did. The lodge is in a convenient location, walking distance to some of the museums and restaurants in Belgravia. Even though it’s on the corner of a host road, it’s a tranquil little oasis. We loved our family room which had a loft with two additional beds. It was interesting to learn that the two family rooms used to be a squash court back in the day! The room was comfortably furnished and we appreciated having a bar fridge, microwave, big tv and fast Internet. We also enjoyed the complementary sherry at the end of a long day. Our son loved taking a bath in the old claw-footed bathtub. There is a lovely little courtyard with a table, a nice place to sit with a glass of wine. The lodge is under new ownership and they are in the process of freshening everything up. Lizette is a wonderful hostess and I have no doubt the lodge will continue to get great ratings. The complementary breakfast was great with several made to order items, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, toast, etc. Another bonus is that the lodge doesn’t really experience load shedding as its on the same line as the hospital! Lizette also let us leave our luggage in the room on the day we checked out so that we didn’t have to visit the Big Hole with all of our valuables in plain sight when in the car. We really enjoyed our stay and wish Lizette and her team the best of luck.

This is the second time I have stayed at this establishment. Their continued service of excellence is evident in the small details. The staff are always willing to go the extra mile and their breakfasts are delicious. This is your go-to place when stopping over in Kimberley, NC.

The owners are always very friendly, accommodating, open for suggestions and helpful. They go out of their way to make one feel welcome. The guesthouse are very well situated, the rooms are very tidy, spacious and well maintained. The breakfast is great and not to be missed. This is truly a home away from home experience.

What a wonderful time we had! I walked in the beautiful streets early in the morning, only to come back to a refreshing swim and fantastic breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The rooms were neat and the garden well kept. As a keen photographer I could not resist taking loads of photographs. This staff was all very friendly and we enjoyed playing with Heidi and searching for Skillie. We will be back.

Talk about a eyeful of serenity from the outside to stepping inside your room. We were welcomed warm heartedly. The staff is great and friendly. I love the touch of the handcrafted wood work in the rooms. And the breakfast is heavenly 😊🔥

We overnighted on our way between kzn and kgalgadi. We were welcomed and made comfortable in the garden room. It opened onto beautiful garden with an attractive outlook onto a group of trees, a cool verandah with comfortable seating made a welcome respite after a long days travel. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and served earlier than normal as we had to get on the road. Hospitality at its best. Thank you Nico.

What a beautifully appointed little property in Kimberly! It sure made us feel very safe and welcome while we explored “the big hole” and learned about the town’s diamond history, This lodge is off the downtown area in the Main Street of a quiet residential area. Very well kept and delicious breakfasts too! We would recommend wholeheartedly.
