Our family of three spend one night at Langberg Guestfarm after a long day on the road, we enjoyed the traquillity of the farm. The accomodation provided for all our needs and this was supported by the friendly staff. We will visit Langberg again, for sure!
Fabulous accommodation on route to and from Langebaan from Pretoria... Great beds/pillows/linen... very clean... Was great to see the Roan Antelope as well as the Buffalo... Would recommend as probably the best accommodation in the Kimberley area... especially if you don't want to stay in the town... Delia is a fantastic Hostess....
Stayed over as part of large family group (15 people) on our way to the Cape using the N12 as alternative route. Exceptional farm to stay over as pit stop. Very clean, good bedding, and a lovely pool (built in form of old farm dam with windmill next to it) to enjoy after long hot road. Access (dirt road) to farm from N12 tarr road is good -even for sedan cars. Easy to find farm as it is clearly marked. Management is very good and very accommodating- friendly welcome, went beyond what was required and prepared The Kraal area where we enjoyed a braai and could relax as a whole family. Units have double bed on raised level wich is accessed with two steps. Living space is on lowered level where the two single beds are also provided. Would be difficult to access with wheelchairs. Bathroom with shower only. All units has old farm feeling- but everything is neat as a pin with good bedding to ensure good nights rest. Small fridge in unit but owner assisted in providing freezer facilities to us and assisted in purchasing karoo lamb for the holidays. Close to the Magersfontein museum if you are into history (specifically Anglo Boer war 1899- 1902). If you are traveliing south on the N12 from the farm, you will encounter an old block house from the war- fully accessible with parking area on the side of the road when you cross the Riet River on the other side of the railway line (working railway line). Farm itself has facinating history. Will definately recommend it to all and will definately stay over again, only for longer this time.…
Our first stop on a 2 week vacation. After a long hot day driving in the car Langberg was heaven on earth for us. The warm welcome we received from the moment we arrived made us fell really welcome. Deliah was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful and spacious rooms to stay in. Nice dam to jump in and cool off. Staff prepared a special place for us to braai, we were 15 people staying for the night. We will strongly recommend Langberg to any traveller
After a long day with a few unplanned detours to visit old friends, we found a perfect overnight spot at Langberg Guestfarm. When we arrived at about 6pm, we were welcomed by Delia and our check in was completed in no time. We were forewarned that they do not offer dinner and we bought a bottle of wine, salads, bread and a few slices of cold meat while passing through Kimberley. Delia provided us with glasses, plates and cutlery and we enjoyed our meal under the millions of stars. We left early the next morning on our way home and will have to come back to really experience this beautiful place in daylight. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was a bonus, as we are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary since 2 April!!
