Very nice guest farm on the N12 north of Kimberly. The facilities are outstanding with a pool to refresh, ample braai facilities as well as a restaurant. All that one requires for a nice rest and a pleasant stay is provided by the very friendly host. We felt welcome from the time we arrived till we departed the next day. Thanks.
We visited Jonkershoek Guest Farm on the 3rd of December 2020. From the moment we arrived till we left it was a great experience. Elisna was very helpful and hospitable. Exceptional service, immaculate room and beautiful surroundings which made this a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
From start to finish, Elizna was the most impeccable host! Such a pleasure to deal with. The property is absolutely stunning and our room was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and our every need was catered for and then some. And we were joined by our fur babies who had the best time. Such a fabulous stay! Thanks for everything!
A lovely place to stop and rest on the way home. My family and I were well taken care of. Beautiful clean rooms and a very friendly and helpful hostess. Lovely boma for an evening braai under the stars. Excellent family time. Thank you from the Coxys.
This guesthouse only opened recently and we found it by chance. We arrived with no booking and the manager Elisna went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything inour executive room was sparkling clean, new and of good quality. The 4* are very deserved. They organised us a braai pack and everything you need for the braai, as we came not prepared, but were only too grateful not having to drive any further. There is a lovely boma, with good lighting and all the braai gadgets one may need. If we would not have found this place, we would have had to stay in Kimberley. We did not really want to stay in the city and were hoping to find something more interesting. We were very lucky to find Jonkershoek, right next to the highway (our room was facing the other way, and despite an open window, there was no traffic noise bothering us - we are quite sensitive to noise). Beds and bedding were of excellent quality, breakfast was very nice, too. There are a few other dinner options, if you book in advance. There is a huge lawn for children to play, two lovely dogs and a great swimming pool. The accommodation is on a cattle farm and you can do a guided tour if you are interested. If we travel that way again, there is no doubt, we will return. Highly recommended. No need to stay in the city.…
