When I read some of the other reviews on tripadvisor, I'll admit that I was a bit nervous about staying at Belgravia B&B. Now, after spending a week at Belgravia, I can confidently say that most of the negative reviews are completely unfounded; Belgravia B&B is a fantastic place to stay!!

The room I stayed in was large and comfortable, complete with air-conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle. The daily breakfast was continental, but it was typically more than I could eat. A sample breakfast was as follows: slices of ham, cheese, tomatoes, two cartons of yogurt, juice, an assortment of fruits (bananas, apples, and on occasion, an avocado), bread (croissant or rolls), two types of cereals, milk, biscuits, a muffin, tea, and instant coffee.

My room overlooked the pool, which was clean and incredibly refreshing on those hot Kimberley days. There were other people staying in the B&B, but I never heard anyone, it was absolutely peaceful and quiet the entire time I was there. The owners do have children, but they were incredibly polite, friendly, and they never created any disturbances.

The hotel is wonderfully located in the Belgravia neighborhood, within walking distance of the Duggan-Cronin Museum, the McGregor Museum, and two of Kimberley's most magnificent historic homes. The B&B is also an incredibly short walk from one of Kimberley's best restaurants, Butler's (which I would highly recommend).

The owners are wonderful people. Even though my plane was delayed the day that I arrived, one of the owners waited for me and greeted me warmly upon my arrival. When I returned to my room on my last day, I found an "All the Best" candy bar in the fridge, how sweet is that?! One of the owners even drove me to a nearby antique shop after I expressed an interest in finding Kimberley-specific antiques.

My only complaint, which I mentioned to the owners, is that the internet was somewhat unreliable. I think this is a problem throughout Kimberley, but it's something to be aware of. The last two days of my stay the internet was fine, and I know the owners are working on improving the connection.

All in all, I had a FANTASTIC time at Belgravia B&B and I would recommend it to ALL my friends and family. It you want to stay at a peaceful paradise in the middle of the Kimberley "desert," this is where you should go!! I have no doubt I will be staying here again in the future!

Wonderful Hostess. Very comfortable. However needs a hairdryer in the room. Room has a fridge, microwave so as far as we were concerned, self catering could be done. It advertised full breakfast but turned out to be Continental but ok for us

Very lovely stay. Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and neat all the escentials for a comfortable stay. Continental breakfast was very nice and all the food fresh and tasty. No complaints at all... the parking is safe however very tight and you need to consider if you have a big 4x4..

Because of the location, this is one of our favorite B&B's. We stayed with friends who had booked the place for us, and it was very pleasant. I appreciated that this lodging was pretty close to some of the attractions that interested us, like the MacGregor House, and the Synagogue. A lot of classy old houses in the neighborhood also. Recommend!

The Belgravia is perfectly situated for access to most of the attractions in Kimberley; either walking in to town or within minutes of several museums/galleries.
We found the s/c accommodation clean and comfortable and we were able to sit outside our door by the small pool in a shady garden.
Heidi was helpful in planning our trip and welcoming on arrival.

We got lost getting there and when I called they gave us a number to call when we got to Kimberly and they would have someone meet us there as at night there would be no one there until 7am. We called and when we arrived we were met by a young employee-she showed us in and gave us the family suite as the couple in our room wanted to stay extra night- we had no problem with the extra room. She showed us everything in the room and told us to keep the doors closed unless we wanted Mosquitos sharing the accommodations. We explained that the airline lost our luggage and she brought us toiletries and bug spray! The room was older but VERY CLEAN! For sure we would return their if we were to go back to SA-----

We recently stayed in Belgravia Bed and Breakfast in Kimberley.
This is truly a hidden gem.
A neat and very homely place with pretty garden and pool.
Our family stayed in the family cottage and it was extremely clean and well kept.
The room was spacious and overlooked the pool with patio set right outside the door.
Choose this little b&b for your next trip to the BIG HOLE !!!
Thank you Heidi !!!

On arrival we had a lovely warm welcome in a comfortable and cozy B&B, which is situated in a quiet area. Very helpful, jovial and friendly owner and staff, who are doing their utmost to make you feel at home. The rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated and very clean and neat. Breakfast was good and was prepared and served by the owner Heidi herself. Restaurants are within a reach of only a five-minute walk . If we would return to Kimberley we would certainly spent the night at "The Belgravia"

Heidi the owner phoned us and was extremely angry and shouted and hurled abuse at us 'how do you expect our staff to wait for you?" This was after we called her to say we would be 45 minutes late! after road work delays.

We were shocked and dismayed at her attitude. When we said we would post a review on Trip Adviser Her reply was 'My Husband said you can do what you like!"

She told us to go to the Protea hotel and we would receive a refund from her. When we arrived in Kimberly we went to Belgravia and found the place completely dark and empty. We spent the night at the Kimberley Club what a delight. My advice to all travelers is to avoid Belgravia like the plague NEVER AGAIN!

"Best to avoid altogether. If you need to stay over in Kimberley you might want to try the Protea or Kimberley Club."
