My wife and I spent my birthday weekend during mid July 2022 at the Hampton suite at Blegrace. It was just beautiful! We loved all the amenities provided and the fireplace was great for the cold evenings. The sunsets from the balcony was magical! The suite catered to our every need and perfect for couples wanting to spend quality time together. We certainly recommend Belgrace to anyone wanting to spend a quality weekend away.

Visitors from the UK, we have stayed in several White River lodges and hotels over the years, and they have all been good. Belgrace however is something special. From the moment you are picked up (free of charge) from KMIA, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are always attentive without being obtrusive. Our luxury suite was immaculately furnished and well maintained. The hotel is a peaceful haven and ideally situated for a restful few days before or after a safari in nearby Sabi Sands. Meals are excellent and very reasonably priced as is the wine selection. We were very sorry to leave after three nights and would recommend unreservedly!

Finally, my wife & I got to take a well deserved weekend romantic trip to the Belgrace Boutique Hotel. It was also my wife birthday, so, the weekend had to be perfect.

We stayed in the Blue Moon room - beautifully decorated in blues, grays and silver. We were well impressed with the size of the room, bathroom and bed.

Perfect rainy and cool weather added that extra touch of romance to the weekend. Rustic look and very stylish deco in the general Hotel really surprised us and at the same gave the hotel a sophisticated feel.
Great breakfast came with the package - and enjoying under an ancient fig tree ads to the atmosphere of being far away from the mad-city-rush. Bliss...

The cherry on top, for me, was the friendly ans ever attentive staff. Never overbearing, yet always there. Their attention to detail and service is remarkable and made the stay more memorable. You will soon learn who Maxwell and Sizwe are, upon your arrival.

If location is a dealbreaker for you - you will simply love the scenery from from property. Open space, rolling hills and many shades of green, filled the senses ans the scenery.
We are already planning our next stay...

If you are looking for a 5 star boutique hotel with a personal touch then look no further. We were welcomed on arrival at our vehicle by the Manager, Vusi and Lethu with cold face cloths and ice-cold juices - quite a welcome respite from the heat on the day. We were immediately given a short tour of the hotel and the hotel grounds and on taking us to our Mary Rose luxury room, we found that our luggage had already been awaiting us. The Mary Rose luxury room, whilst not a suite, was just perfect. It was charming and beautifully decorated. Dinner and breakfast can be taken in the main hotel under the Rock Fig tree, which is beautiful (and if you are lucky, you may see the horses strolling around the garden) or in the comforts of your room. If taken in your room, dinner/breakfast is served on the verandah of your room which is quite a delight. We were leaving for the Kruger Park early the next morning so the hotel very kindly arranged a packed breakfast for us in a picnic basket. The breakfast was sumptuous - homemade muesli, yoghurt and fresh cut fruit, coffee and tea in separate flasks, packets of nuts, dried fruit and muesli bars. Vusi and Lethu are such wonderful gentlemen. They both work hard and really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel, whilst situated on a quiet road, is ideally located between Nelspruit and White River with easy access to the main roads. We certainly loved our stay at this gem of a place.

Completely unexpected we ended up at this magnificent Boutique Hotel and what a surprise after a full day of travelling up and down the Panoramic Route.
We were awaited by the local manager with a nice refreshing drink and towels, shown to our superb room (upgrade to the Baby Grand), dipped into the jacuzzi on our terrace enjoyed the complimentary bottle of champagne and relaxed.
Dinner (absolutely great) was served underneath the one and only (lighted) huge fig tree in the garden accompanied by a beautiful bottle of wine, evening couldn't end any better.
Next morning we were served breakfast with all thinkable nice things out on our private terrace!
My gosh, did we enjoy this stay.
All the rooms are so well designed it's impressive the way everything has been thought over.
I wish we'd had more of these stay overs during our trip, it ended up as a very memorable stay and we can recommend the Belgrace Boutique Hotel to anyone travelling in this area.
Happy sleeps!

This is the first time ever in my life that I am reviewing a hotel in the day I checked in, but I am so impressed that I decided to do so.
I am traveling with a group of 14 people, they are all my friends, we are three families with seven children. We have just checked in and we were all very warmly welcomed by the hotel with refreshments towels and drinks for the adults and the children and also complimentary champagne.
After being showed our rooms and villas all my friends including myself were amazed by the beautifulness and uniqueness of this place. All rooms are beautifully and uniquely decorated with elegance and sophistication.
This was so far the best amd most impressive check in I've had so far in South Africa.
I will mention after checking out how helpful and friendly Shaun and Hendri were from the moment I booked.
Congratulations for your excellent property.

Belgrace has recently re-opened in its current format, and goes straight to the top of my list of places to stay in SA. So let me start with the few bad points - it is fairly close to the main road, and although the traffic noise is not overwhelming it can be heard often in the distance when outdoors. That said the water features deaden it, and its not noticeable in the room (ours, one of the family suites, was one of the closest to the road). The pool, while charming and sheltered in a courtyard which must be nice on very hot days, is a bit small, considering the amount of space on the property - just large enough to swim back and forth in. But in every other regard this is a lovely place. The many staff were all without exception welcoming and attentive, in a way rare for SA. The food at dinner and breakfast was superb, the portions generous, and the indoor/outdoor garden setting for the restaurant beautiful. The rooms, both public and private, were very comfortable and outstandingly well equipped. We had a family room that had two lovely albeit modest sized bedrooms, together with lounge and kitchenette (you could easily self cater for dinner), a stoep/verandah with a large table (they offered to serve us dinner there, and if you have young or restless kids this would be a better option than the dining room), and a hot tub. No detail seemed to have been overlooked. While rural, its not really in a classic bush or mountain location, so you would have to drive to most of the attractions - but many are not far. As a stopover, or a rural break to recharge, eat and relax, its outstanding. We were there with the kids but I suspect will come back without them for a romantic break.

My husband and I were looking for a place near JHB, (but not so near) that we we could road trip and enjoy our time together for our anniversary. After 3.5 hr road trip from Boksburg to Belgrace Boutique Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Great service from the minute we got to the entrance gate, a gentleman smiling and joking with us. We drove down a beautiful flower laden driveway, greeted by another gentlemen with welcome drinks. He then took us for a tour and then ended at our magical room. We had the Bella Rose room, which had an indoor jacuzzi that could fit 4-6 people, double shower, a bed and bath tub that looked out onto our private balcony that hosted a private pool (although the pool as not clean for us to use and not filled enough). Our private patio boasted a 3 seater couch with a coffee table and a candelabra, with a dinner table. This room promoted romance and intimacy.

The only negative I would say was the dinner table on our balcony did not have to be dressed if we were not going to eat outside, should of been dressed only if we were to eat on our balcony the cutlery and glasses just laid outside the entire weekend.

The restaurant was exquisite from the decor, ambiance and the food. The food was beautifully presented, served hot and tasted devine. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner there.

The staff were amazing always so polite and friendly.

This a truly beautiful place to relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
