Very large complex. Our room, large and comfortable, was located at the far end of the complex; the advantage was that we were quiet; For people with reduced mobility, consider asking for a room closer to reception to avoid walking too much between the room and the breakfast room. Beautiful terrace and beautiful swimming pool with view of the river. The breakfast buffet is very well stocked and the room is very large; As there are a lot of people, it's a bit noisy. But the staff is attentive.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend. I give it 4/5 stars because while the facilities are reasonably good, the service can be improved. I'm happy to accept that it is a COVID19 issue - the breakfast on offer is very poor. Basically the same breakfast options daily, the juice is not real, no cereal - we were very surprised to say the least. Other than that, the rooms on the lakeside are the best.

Very well located for the visit to Kruger National Park, far enough to avoid mosquitoes with malaria and close to do the whole day safari.

Good facilities, pool and a large lake good wifi for connectivity.

Attentive and helpful staff.

Large rooms although somewhat lacking cleanliness. The bathroom needs a good renovation.

It's safe, in every area of the buildings there's a security guard.

It is worth staying in the

Rude staff, especially in the kitchen. Restaurant menu is one page. Refuse to serve room service menu in the restaurant. Ice is a problem. Wifi is slower than dialup internet. Food and drinks is very expensive. Rules apply only to certain people. Overall a bad experience

We visited the hotel over the Easter weekend.
Clean, well maintained hotel with spacious rooms and a good breakfast.
Only thing that needs to be improved is the service level of the staff during the day.

Great location. Will visit again.

A lovely property - great spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens over looking the Dam.
Lovely terrace area outside the Dining Room to sit and relax or eat your meals, great food. A lovely big swimming pool to cool off in the summer heat. Overall a very nice stay.

Booked as part of a Kuoni trip as it was reasonably close (45 mins) to Kruger National Park, Whilst this hotel whilst looked impressive externally & in the public rooms the bedrooms & service was a real disappointment. The rooms whilst spacious but the decor was tired, they had very noisy air-con which markedly chilled one bed whilst leaving the other person too warm. Restaurant service in the evening was poor, with limited menu, staff who had no idea of food allergies, falsely reassuring guests when they actually did not know, and were reluctant to go and check with the chef. Food was poor, too dried up. Breakfast buffet was reasonable, and lots of it.

Hubby and I were travelling as part of a group and one of our stops was at the Pine Lake Inn.

I just read a review by someone saying it was the worst service they ever experienced from front desk staff...are they sure they reviewed the right hotel? We had a wonderful experience with the front desk staff and ALL the staff at the hotel. It's really hard to imagine they weren't friendly because the hostess was unbelievable. She was warm and welcoming and very helpful.

Our room was very comfortable and clean and a decent size.

We used the pool and enjoyed it very much. The peacock quite enjoyed watching us in the pool.

We walked down to the water ... lovely property.

We had dinner and breakfast at the Inn and we were happy with both meals.

Yes, we would definitely go back.

Spent three nights here as access point for our visits to Kruger National Park. No nearby shops/food/restaurants other than what are on site, but meals at restaurant were good. Room very clean, bed comfortable, but poor WiFi access. But what the heck, we spent most the time in Kruger and watched cricket and rugby when we needed entertainment in the room. Disconnect and rest and visit with other travelers sharing stories about Kruger!
