Detailed Reviews
The people who run this accommodation are very nice. The location is off the beaten path, but not too far from town either. We were a family of 10 extended members, so the set up worked well for us. There was a "main house" with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a livingroom and a small kitchen. The living room had 2 single beds and a bunk bed, plus 2 couches. One bedroom had a double bed in it. The other bedroom was ensuite with one double and one single bed. The bathroom attached had a jetted tub (we didn't use it because the cold water was not working, which was a huge bummer!) and a separate shower. It was updated with beautiful tiles of travertine and granite. This bedroom also had a sliding-glass door that led to the patio. The kitchen had a small gas stove, a small freezer and a small refridgerator. The kitchen was also stocked with everything needed to prepare meals: pots, pans, dishware, cutlery, etc. The living room and the master bedroom both had independent air conditioning units, and this was a godsend during the hot summer months! This house accomodated 7 of us: 3 boys stayed in the living room, 2 in the master bedroom, and 2 in the second bedroom.
Another part of the property which was rented by our group was a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with an adjoining bathroom. A small family of 3 used this space.
Other options for staying include: a tent that's semi-permanent. The owners will also put at least one more up, as they did while we were there for a different group. There is also a dorm of sorts, where 4 young women stayed while we were there. The grounds themselves have nice landscaping, a pool (treated, but not clear; they didn't run the filter long enough to clean it, even after a guest went and bought the chemicals to fix it so it could be used comfortably), a hot tub on the deck (empty due to the serious drought, and they wouldn't fill it when requested), and a grassy area that leads to a boardwalk into the jungle/lichi plantation. The driveway is bricked and the plantlife is idyllic. Those who rented the tents had access to a covered outdoor kitchen and separate bathroom for their use only. Also, the property is gated with an electric gate. Along with the surroundings, there are 4-5 small dogs who live on the property and they're very friendly.
The owners added laundry to their available services for a small fee. It was worth it!
While I was happy with our stay (it was quite inexpensive, so not much was expected), some of our group didn't feel that place was up to par. The other guests were also not happy at all with the lack of a hot tub and a pool green with algae. I'd stay here again, but as a second choice.

This place has great potential. The owners are fixing it up. We booked through RoomsforAfrica.com which had some incorrect information such as ensuite bathroom, coffee/tea provided, and jacuzzi/pool. The tent was fine and private. It is in a nice remote location with tons of trees. Basic housekeeping or maintenance would have gone a loooong way here. For example, the guest room they showed us had a dead cockroach on the bed. The kitchen was dirty; tons of dirty dishes in the cabinet. The pool was swampy green (not usable) and the jacuzzi (which we were really looking forward to) was empty.
