The lodge has a great location within St Lucia and the lodge itself is just beautiful - not in a pretentious way, just wonderful natural surroundings and nice architecture of the buildings. The photos I saw before booking online did not do it justice. The staff were incredibly friendly and we visited during a very quiet period so we had a lot of interaction with them and they were all super friendly and fun to chat with and helpful. we couldn't have asked for much more and it will be a place I would def go back to and will always remember as being fantastic. I think it is worth spending more on this place in St Lucia (compared to other accom I saw) if you can afford to - we didn't regret it one iota, even though there were cheaper options available.

The staff were lovely and the dining area would be 4 star with the lovely views over the gardens and the rife birdlife. The bedrooms need attention, like the mildew in the bathrooms and the damp smell. It would be nice to tell the guests at the time of booking that fishing is not possible as you cant even access the estuary due to the reeds and that the pool was empty due to repairs...a note at reception is too late if a person has travelled to get to St Lucia. I have marked location as poor because a person comes here to fish and it is not possible at the moment unless you want to fish in the sea, which we did not due my husbands injury we were really wanting to fish of the jetty. If we had know ahead that the jetty's are inaccessible, we would have opted for a different location all together.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we are sorry that your pre-booked room was not to your liking, and that we were able to find a solution for you. Eco Lodge is one of the only few places in St. Lucia that offers a wonderful lookout across the Wetlands Forest to the Estuary and the ocean and are a favourite with our visitors. We look forward to welcoming you back. Regards The Eco Lodge Team

We have stayed in St Lucia several times and this lodge was by far the best bang for buck and much nicer grounds than other accommodation in town at the same price. And the views and pool are simply stunning. We were delighted at how great the place was given the price. Really good value! We Absolutely Loved this place. Highly recommended...

Kian Barker has his finger on his lodge , from cleanliness to hygiene I cannot fault this establishment . Furniture is slightly dated but the overall feel is great and the staff are super friendly . Morning breakfast is no longer a buffet ( due to COVID ) but you get a few options to choose from and we were not disappointed . Arranged all our excursion’s from the lodge as Kian Barker is Mr St Lucia and is the most knowledgeable person in Natal concerning wildlife and geological history of the area. You will be honored to have him take you on any excursion . He did our night drive and sunset estuary cruise . We really contemplated extending our stay , it was that good.

This property is located on the outside of town overlooking the forest and a bit of sea views. Staff are attentive and so welcoming and this property offers the ultimate peace and tranquility. One of my best stays in St Lucia by far.

We had a lovely room with some sea view the room was neat and clean and a well equipped Kitchen.
The whole atmosphere was pleasant, the Hippos were out in the street which made it feel we were in the Okavango. The staff were very friendly you were greeted with a smile each morning, making you feel welcome. We will be back.

St Lucia Eco Lodge is very close to everything in the small area of St Lucia. It is a lovely layout with comfortable rooms. I did self catering so don't know about the food. One of the best things is they run their own good, reliable tours in the area and can give expert advice if you want to do self guided things.

Stayed in St Lucia for a few nights while exploring the area. Upon arrival it all seemed very clean, the staff was nice, but the Wifi was very slow. However, we were met with an unpleasant surprise when we plugged in our laptop to charge. After just 5 minutes it stopped charging and the screen did not go on anymore. Shortly after, an iPhone charger also stopped working.

We refrained from plugging any of our other expensive equipment in the sockets, as we did not want to risk losing more electronics. Weeks later, when we could finally have the laptop looked at by an IT specialist, they found that the charger port had BURNT, completely ruining the motherboard of our expensive MacBook Pro. We are now faced with unexpected, high costs for a perfectly new laptop, which cannot be repaired anywhere else other than an Apple manufacturer. We were unable to carry out our work for the remainder of the Africa trip, which was very disappointing.

Although the hotel itself is perfectly fine, this unreliable power source was a big stain on our stay.

We stayed in room 12, the family suite and it was extremely nice and comfortable. The room boasts an upstairs veranda that overlooks a garden pond and the breakfast area.

Morning breakfast was buffet style.
