Unique design: poetic architecture, serene atmosphere, pure quality, maximum convenience challenges for an unforgettable visit. The most exclusive newly build guesthouse in St. Lucia is totally different regarding architecture and exclusivity. Minimalistic with a warm atmosphere. Big luxury rooms (50m2 each), a fantastic view into the garden and Wetlands Park with all the birds and animals, the silence, a beautiful large swimming pool and warm Dutch hospitality.

Great experience with fantastic hosts everything was clean tidy and well kept. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. The view onto deck and pool are great for having coffee. Breakfast was 5 star. Will definitely recommend to all.

We stayed there for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. We can highly recommend this unique 5 star guest house. The architecture is amazing and modern, the rooms are enormous and the breakfast was fantastic. The garden and pool is breathtaking and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best guest houses we have ever had the pleasure of staying at.

Stayed at Serene Estate over the long weekend. I am completely in awe of every minute that was spent there. Putting aside the incredible green sceneries, clean and modern architecture with pops of color, spacious rooms and delightful breakfast I truly believe the warmth of the place comes from the host Olga; she was welcoming and informative. Serene Estate is the perfect shortleft holiday gateway. I hope to be back again.

There wasn’t much not to love about Serene Estate: the generously proportioned rooms; comfy bed; scrumptious, ample breakfast; informative and helpful hosts; inviting pool; tranquil park surroundings... While we did a fair bit of exploring in the iSimangaliso Wetlands, we could equally have spent all our time at the Estate. Hope to be back. (Shakabarker Tours provide an excellent, intimate lake cruise experience.)

Had a 5 night stay at Serene Estate over the recent Heritage Day long weekend, and what a pleasure. Its a piece of heavenly tranquility and modern class that made the 7 hour road trip from Joburg worth it. The location is perfect - fronting directly onto the lush green parkland on a quiet street away from the busy main road through St Lucia, but close enough that its a 10 minute walk to any of the restaurants in town. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Bed was super comfy and bathroom had double basins and a great shower. Best feature, though, was the view from the patio outside the room - we watched duikers, bushbuck, crested guinea-fowl, tons of birds and cute bush-babies, while sitting and having a glass of wine. Wonderful! Breakfast was a feast. Fresh fruit, Juice, yogurts, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, a generous bread basket (great croissants!) and eggs to order. Nice coffee, too. Enough to get us through till dinner while we explored the park up to Cape Vidal or lazed on the main beach at St Lucia Olga was a perfect hostess, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Serene estate. It really lives up to its name!
