It is a clean, airy and modern place in a beautiful surrounding. The host is a lovely lady who knows the area well and reads the wishes from the guests face. The rooms are clean, the equipment is modern, but simple (like in a hostel). The view from the room into the park makes up for it.

We liked everything! Our room was just outside the pool and garden and it is very modern and spacious with perfect beds. The beautiful garden has many birds as Turacos, Hornbills etc, even Monkeys,Warthog and Common Duiker.Ingrid, our host is so nice and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is tasteful, with a lot of fresh fruit. We were here 5 days, 25-30 of October, and St Lucia is a fantasic place, with a lot of things to do, go to National Parks etc, and there is a lot of good restaurants. We will for sure go back to Serena Estate if we have the oppurtunity to go to St Lucia one more time.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff was super nice and very helpful with organizing our activities. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh smoothie made it top. The house is very modern and has a nice style. We will come back!

Perfect to stay for a few das. Very quite surroinding. Large, colourful and modern designed rooms. Very good and fresh prepared breakfast. Huge garden with pool. 5 minutes walk to restaurants and shops.

We had an outstanding time in Olga and Hans's guest house. We stayed in the red room which is large and lovely. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfasts were so good and different one day from the other. The place is so quiet and peaceful. We would love to come again as Olga and Hans are such lovely people.

Very nice, quiet property with large rooms. Ingrid gave us good recommendations and information, even provide a cool box for the picnic in ISimangaliso. Only aspect to improve: it would be good to have the option to get in contact with somebody from the staff during the day of questions arise (whatsapp).

This was one of the most peaceful locations i have been too. The name suits the location. We had a lovely stay at Serene-estate Guesthouse. A lovely spacious room, very nice garden and pool, a very good condition property and very well managed. The breakfast was the best we had in two and a half weeks in South Africa (and we had some very good breakfasts elsewhere). A very relaxing stay.
