Check-in at 16:00, when many other guests also booked in, was a bit disorganised. But all else went smoothly during our relaxing stay. Staff members are friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed great food at the restaurant. The quiet surroundings, apart from some distant animals calling, and dark night sky - absolute bonus!

Crystal springs is about 500km from durban a very long drive over 8 to 9 hrs due to very poor road conditions and potholes in the limpopo area. Lots of great things about this estate 1. Totally secluded and it is so well hidden within the beautiful location and blended into the habitat and terrain of white crusted cliffs, dusted with granite rocks of all earthy colours, fynbos and all the finery that beautiful cape is noted for, the most beautiful wild flowers growing in bunches. Truely heaven on earth. 2. This is the ideal resort to relax and enjoy the nature. There are walking trails, 4x4 routes, tennis court etc. if you want to get active or you can relax at the spa or spend time with family. We go there every year

Beautiful sceneries. Not far from other waterfalls,, Gods window, Pilgrims Rest, etc Air conditioners can be installed as the weather can change drastically from hot to cold, but every moment is pleasurable. Restaurant serves the nicest food.

No facilities for kids when its raining with the exception of 1 small game room with limited games for the entire resort. No communication from staff at resort explain power outages. Constant follow up regarding DSTV issues, please note: although the weather was bad, It took maintenance finally changing the decoder after 4 attempts to finally realize that the issue was a faulty decoder. Was hard to relax - thinking of the breakage deposit - Just you dare break a glass(I honestly had know idea glasses or spoons are so expensive) - felt like i was living in a museum Besides 1 load shedding light - no other power source - Resort needs to upgrade knowing that loadshedding is here to stay. Bed were uncomfortable reception staff were not informative at all, just gave us…
