Always the best, since 20 years ago. Staff from the gate , every where, at reception, game room cleanets, till we booked out was friendly, always feel like family. Food at the restaurant was very good. Thanks to everyone
Spectacular view of the mountain in the morning and at sunset Warming ourselves next to the fire place Viewing animals from the veranda Absolute quietness and peace away from the city An exceptional amount of oxygen in the air you breath
Wonderful stay. Beautiful setting. The road around Lydenburg is very bad, so please drive early so you can go slow in bad spots. The view and walking trails are spectacular. Staff is friendly and very professional.
Crystal Springs itself is a well looked after lodge with lots of attractions in and around the area. A few that come to mind that have to be visited itself are : Pilgrims Rest Town Graskop Gorge Lift Natural Bridge Pinnacle rock Lisbon falls Berlin falls Bourke's Luck Potholes 3 Rondawels God's window
We have a wonderful time at the Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge. Everything was fantastic, from the accommodation, to the heated pool, to the general facilities. The Lodge does offer a nature trail that is very informative and worthwhile to take.
Satisfactory stay but resort is dated and needs upgrading and a thorough clean-up. Very friendly and caring staff makes the stay bearable. Besides the beautiful animals, not much else to compliment about this place.
Thanks for the staying. The resort is very clean and the people is very help full to make you comfortable. The road need little fixing. The restaurant food is executed very well and on time. The reception people is very friendly and help full.
Check-in at 16:00, when many other guests also booked in, was a bit disorganised. But all else went smoothly during our relaxing stay. Staff members are friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed great food at the restaurant. The quiet surroundings, apart from some distant animals calling, and dark night sky - absolute bonus!
Just keep up with the excellent work It was a good break for families that was money well spend. Everything was so good from food to Everything. Will definitely make onother trip to came back to this amazing resort
Crystal springs is about 500km from durban a very long drive over 8 to 9 hrs due to very poor road conditions and potholes in the limpopo area. Lots of great things about this estate 1. Totally secluded and it is so well hidden within the beautiful location and blended into the habitat and terrain of white crusted cliffs, dusted with granite rocks of all earthy colours, fynbos and all the finery that beautiful cape is noted for, the most beautiful wild flowers growing in bunches. Truely heaven on earth. 2. The layout and estate, blended into the wildlife, place is teeming with animals coming to your windows and doorstep, stoep, verandahs and patios.crytal springs endeavours to bring in thr outdoors into your luxury chalets.large open window, patios and really huge bedroom windows that make u feel u are in the bush. Privacy is maintained and luxury chalets have everythg you will ever need. Some things to make a note of: 1. A six sleeper here only sleeps 4 adults. We had to pay 2100 and part with 2000 points because we had to book a second apartment. Lickily Chistina made some arrangements tp keep our group together with an apartment with interleading doors. 2. Carry your toiletries, bath essentials are not provided. 3. Do carry food to cook if u are older especially. The restaurant and reception area quite far from the chalet areas. 4. Older folk must have vehicle to move around. Also request units where theres not too much walking steps. 5. No phones in rooms so u cannot phone to get housekeeping or use landlines for fee. No wifi either 6. At warm indoor pool no kids allowed even with their family. This makes outing hard as kid minders in opposite area away from pool. …
