Iketla is a wonderful lodge for peace and quiet, leisurely nature walks on your door step, good food and great company. We stayed in one of the chalets overlooking the valley and spent a lot of time on the private patio. Hennielene and Albert were wonderful hosts offering advice and expertise of the area and wildlife when required. Highly recommended!...

We went to Iketla to celebrate an anniversary and birthday. Our hosts could not have been more corteous, considerate and helpful. Iketla is absolutely beautiful with fantastic views and accdomodations. The food was wonderful - the Kudu Pie really stands out! I really, really want to return soon!

The Iketla Lodge near Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Canyon is quite simply, amazing. It is understated in its marketing on purpose. It is a true "find". Perfectly landscaped in its natural surroundings, it is over a mile off the road. It is noisy with birds and baboons. It overlooks a beautiful valley with occasional wildlife. The rooms...

We stayed here two nights and could not have been happier. It is beautiful and secluded and you can be as active as you wish or simply relax. There were trails to walk or the pool or the unbelievable night sky. The panorama route is near and we did see some wildlife even here. The room was very nice as...

Nice location, but for the Iketla Lodge - hardly 3 stars. Uncomfortable beds, cheap bedding, fresh, but simple food. You can see some interesting birds around, but no animals. Swimming pool is small, so one can't really swim there. The owners defenitely ask too much for what you get. It's an OK place, but I doubt I'll ever come back.

This is a great place to stay if you want to see the Panorama Route. The accomodation was beautiful with indoor and outdoor showers, and your own viewing rock overlooking the valley. The owners are extremely welcoming and really looked after us. The food they served was some of the best food we had in South Africa. There are also quite...

My husband and I recently spent the first two nights of our honeymoon at Iketla, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The owners, Albert and Hennielene, and their manager Chris, made us feel welcome and at home after our long journey from the UK. We stayed in a beautiful thatched cottage overlooking baboon, warthog and kudu antelope going...

There are dozens of great places to stay in the Kruger area, but it is more difficult to find somewhere special near the Blyde River Canyon, so we were delighted to find Iketla lodge. You stay in lovely thatched rondavels that are beautifully decorated, with the luxury of both inside and outside stone showers and with gorgeous views out over...
