After a long drive from Johannesburg arriving at Iketla was like entering another world, having been greeted by Albert and given a much needed drink, we were shown to our thatched chalet overlooking some beautiful countryside, with a waterhole situated below us. Taking a shower in the open air was just the start of a wonderful few days relaxing and...

From the moment you drive into the shaded carpark, you are treated in a warm and welcoming manner which continues throughout your stay. Iketla is wonderfully situated for those wanting to do the Panorama Route, which makes for a beautiful drive either on your way into or out of Kruger. Rather than stay in one of the towns, we were...

We have had a wonderfull time during our 8 nights stay at Iketla. From our beautifull chalet, we had an incredible view upon the valley. Almost every day we watched and heard the baboons run around down there, as well as the kudu's and warthogs. It is a great place to undertake lots of activities from (like the Panorama route,...

My wife and I stayed at Iketla Lodge on the last night of our honeymoon in South Africa. This quiet and beautiful lodge, with it's private huts, perched on an overlook, with lots of space, indoor and outdoor showers, and comfy beds was a great was to decompress on our west towards Johannesburg after our safari in the Sabi Sands/Kruger....

Iketla is very good value for money. The lodge is rustic but very comfortable and situated in beautiful surroundings. I stayed in the honeymoon chalet which has a bath and a shower with unobstructed views of the mountain from the bedroom. There is a swimming pool and several hiking trails are available from the lodge. Dinner is included and the...

Iketla is a perfectly positioned hotel from which to explore the Panorama Route. However, it's own grounds are delightful with extensive walks, so if relaxing is your thing then there is no need to leave the property. Chantelle & Steve were running the Lodge and they seemed to be there 24/7 with the simple aim to ensure our enjoyment, which...

This lodge is as good as any we have stayed in around the world and is excellent value in comparison with many of a similar standard. Our lodge was spacious and tastefully decorated with a lovely view overlooking the waterhole and valley. The food and service were excellent and all the staff were very friendly. Steve & Chantelle were very...

I cannot recommend Iketla Lodge highly enough. The service provided by our hosts, Steve and Chantelle, was outstanding. The individual lodges are thoughtfully designed to blend in with the surroundings, spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable with beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and small waterhole, where we saw large deer (Kudu?) and baboons. The food is lovely and well presented....

We had an amazing 2 days at the lodge, the food was acceptional and the rooms very clean. The resort is very intimate and is run very well. The lodges are great with stunning views and the outdoor showers are great to look out onto the bush and watering hole. As there is not much to do at the resort...
