It felt like Italy, the restaurant on site made it easy to grab a proper meal, no need for Uber or unhealthy fast food, we enjoyed juicy and soft lamb chops, the beer was ice cold. The room was roomy and high water pressure showers. We had a small issue in the room, but they were quick to respond and solve it, I am very impressed.

We visited la villa vita botique hotel over the weekend with the family and this place is marvellous. Its the gem of mbombela right in the top of the hill giving you a panoramic view of the surroundings. If peace, tranquility and a break from the hustle and bustle of city life is what you looking for, this place will give you that. Their buffet breakfast is to die for, with fresh warm croissants straight from the oven. The rooms are aeromatically calming, fresh and spotless. The cosy gym was a cherry on top.Thank you Nastajia and the team for your unparrallel hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay and will definatelty be coming back soon.

So we needed a place to stay in Nelspruit after our safari in Kruger, la villa vita came up as a viable option.
The property is very well maintained and secure. I am an early riser and at 5:30 am the security guard was out and about doing his job, unlike other places we stayed where they were glued to their phone. The room comfortable with a great bathroom. The property has its own power in case of load shedding, which was appreciated. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Our highlight was meeting Willy the restaurant bar tender / waiter / comedian he was pleasant and funny. The meals served were great. Our vehicle was secure is parking garage. The only drawback was Wi-Fi in the room and our it seemed we couldn’t get cell coverage there at times. We would definitely stay there in the future.

The breakfast at LA Villa Vita wasn't up to par for a holiday experience. It felt rather ordinary, especially after having enjoyed a great breakfast at a premium hotel following a long flight. Despite my disappointment with breakfast, I must admit that their dinner was impressive and definitely justified the cost. However, I was surprised to find out that the Spa Room didn't actually include spa treatments; it was just a regular room, and spa services came at an additional cost. The website's information was confusing, and I ended up paying more than expected, especially after a 3 and a half-hour drive to get there.

This was my first time staying here in almost 10 years..... used to be my go to place in Nelspruit.
Unfortunately the quality and standard that I had come to know & love is no more.
Starting with the positives
1. I have always loved the pool
2. Its in a good and safe location
3. Most of staff is friendly
4. Comfortable, big bed we had
The not so positive
1. Room was directly across from breakfast area (we were in 8B) and it was the worst place to be.... very noisy in morning and no sense of privacy (if I opened the room people could basically see inside room)
2. Lighting in room was horrible and because of location of our room, we couldnt open curtains
3. Not enough closet space
4. Fridge wasnt working
5. The "christmas" type lights over the pool give it a "pub" feel and takes away from the equisiteness of the place
6. The bartender was unhappy that I didnt have cash to give him a tip, and refused for me to add it to the electronic payment (insinuating that hes not going to get the tip). He frankly gave me an attitude over the 2 days about this.
7. There was horrendous smell in the covered parking area (the one behind kitchen). It smelled like something had died. That whole area needs to be bleached and cleaned thoroughly.....
In general I dont think the venue has been looked after or kept up to the high standards I knew it for. What a pity because this is a beautiful place

The property is beautiful with great potential. The hotel needs a facelift. Do not book a standard room as it is like a dungeon downstairs. Wallpaper, carpets and mattresses need an upgrade and the doors to Room 2 needs fixing, as a slight push even when locked, could just open it. The food was terrible.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, staff was excellent, pool, rooms all good. Food served was well prepared but need to improve on menus. They are limited be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, ended up repeatedly eating the same meals over and over again for there was no variety of food to choose from. Otherwise the whole experience was very good, when advertising the extra activities be clear on what is paid for so that people are aware of the costs and availability. We refreshed at the end of it all.

After 3 years of not seeing family this was the best choice to host both my family and in-laws. The rooms are well designed. Exceptional staff. Definitely five star treatment and a spa on-site worked well for the ladies in the group. Well located near malls, restaurant and Mpumalanga attractions. We felt taken care off, safe and well entertained (Board games, pool table, books and pool area)

Brilliant holiday yet again. Staff always polite and nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Our food was exceptional, sitting outside this time for breakfast was amazing. This is our fourth visit and I can’t recommend the hotel enough, we look forward to coming back to visit again soon.
The only thing I missed was a “Welcome” drink on arrival? After a 20 hour journey a glass of juice waiting at the top of those steps was always very much appreciated…

Hot Pool out of order and very dirty. Showers leaked. Aircon not working properly. Room door was broken. Maintenance on property was poor. Front desk staff not always available and not all the food on the menue was available. First day of breakfast, the tables were not set, very little food left and knives and forks were dirty. Also glasses were dirty and very dusty. The spa was very nice.

Morning Funhe we can arrange someone pick you up and drop you.
There is a nice pool. But just one, not a special one for kids.
From the rooms we booked (2 interlocked rooms) there was no such things as mentioned and although it was drizzling a bit in the parts of the night and the day, we enjoyed the atmosphere, lights were working well and we could enjoy the view of Nelspruit as the place is nearly at the peak. Anyway I am glad I was not the only one who found the place to be marvelous. The carpet scent was fresh and the rooms were nice and clean.
