Stayed at the Bee Eaters farm for two nights. The location is nice and quiet and the rooms are functional. We did however get the feeling that the room had not been prepared for our arrival as the veranda outside was covered in bird droppings and everything was a bit dusty. We also had exactly one packet of coffee and one packet of sugar per person.

We were on a package that included meals. We had dinners the first night and the food was very good. It was obvious though that we did not have the same chef the next night. The food was bland and tasteless. I had chicken that had to be sent back as it was raw inside. My wife had fish that even though the menu stated that it was served with lemon butter sauce arrived without. After complaining the food was redone and it was edible. We then also ordered desert which failed to materialise. I had to go and look for the waiter in the kitchen to remind him about the desert and he had clearly forgotten.

The establishment can definitely also benefit from something like a pool as there is very little to do. The overall feeling is that this could be a very nice place if some effort and care is put into it.

I have stayed here a couple of times previously. Unfortunately I feel that the general quality has deteriorated. The breakfast is very limited - some items on the menu are not available and the rest very average.

Had difficulty finding the place with GPS help. Once we found it we were welcomed by wonderful staff who offered to prepare us a meal even though the kitchen was about to close for the evening. The rooms are well proportioned and fitted out with great amenities. I would like to go back for a longer visit.

We booked accommodation at BEE Eaters farm for the 2017 Innibos festival, the photos that was advertised looked promising and justified a 4 star rating. However, when we arrived we were shocked and astonished with what we received. They have cleared the staff house to accommodate guests!!! Oversized, old and rotten curtains. Dirty oven with old food still in it, empty cold rooms with old steel bed frames. They robbed 7 people of their hard earned money, we did not even return and found accommodation elsewhere. They refuse to refund our money and refuse to take responsibility for the pathetic condition of the highly priced accommodation. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! BEE Eaters Farm has new owners with no management skills, I will be surprised if this place is still standing in two years time. And if you go....good luck finding a receptionist.

Ignore the last two reviews - this place is wonderful. Our room was delightful and very comfortable. Very peaceful position just out of Nelspruit. We had the steak for supper which was incredibly tasty. The owner and staff were very hospitable and welcoming. Would love to stay again (1 night was not enough) and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Very very good value for money.

Spent two lovely nights here, the rooms are very comfortable and clean with beautiful scenery. The location is good - close enough to shops but also peaceful and quiet. The breakfast is amazing, and the staff are friendly and professional.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Although the room we stay in was neat and clean, we think a small bar fridge and telephone to the office / staff will be great.
A small pool with more activities would also be suggested. Also more entertainment . Seperate door to toiels. Have to walk through conference room while their was a conference to the toilets.

Dear Valued Guest Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to complete your TripAdvisor Review. The constructive feedback is specific and most useful. We will share this information with our entire team. We procured another two (02) mini fridges for our guest rooms last week, we now have five (05) rooms with their own respective fridges. A swimming pool s a necessity in the Lowveld region and it is certainly something we are exploring at present. We look forward to welcoming you back to Bee Eaters in the near future. Have a great day! Best Regards Thomas & HP

We arrived to a typical Lowveld summers day of 40 degrees, and unfortunately no pool to cool of in.

The rooms where large and comfortable. The breakfast created to suit my Asian vegetarian requirement was very tasty and made even tastier by the delicious home made chili sauce-it is really a pity I could not buy some to take home.

Carol was a warm and caring host, who ensured we were comfortable.
