I found Beetleloop Guest House on Booking.com We needed accommodation for one night only due to a family memorial service. From my first contact with the Guest House until our check-out Sunday morning, everything was amazing. I asked for early check-in on Saturday for us to freshen up and get dressed for the memorial service - the immediate response was "Yes, of course". The reception from Liezl was very welcoming and we felt at home immediately. The rooms were clean, tidy and very welcoming. The location is also really good as you are close to the city centre but also close to Steiltes and all the arterials that can take you into any direction.

What a beautiful surprise! The Beetleloop is owned and operated by a very accommodating couple who have set up a variety of lodging options on their property, right in town. Our two traveling couples shared a full house set-up, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a living room, kitchen, laundry room, and deck. There is a nature preserve beyond the back yard. The Beetleloop is safe, secure, very comfortable, and reasonably priced. They helped us with booking restaurant reservations, getting a taxi, getting a pizza delivered (through Uber eats!) and even stored our extra baggage when we toured Kruger and then returned for another night. They are a charming and well traveled and very interesting couple. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved my time at Beetleloop.
Traveled for a little over two weeks for business and what a treat.
From the delicious biscuits with coffee, to the non obtrusive service and the tranquil setting amongst the trees. The rooms were beautiful and spacious as well as serviced daily.
Nothing was too much of a request and a bonus is that laundry is done on site and returned the same day.

We travelled to Mbombela for the weekend and came across a uniquely special bed and breakfast and were treated like royalty. It was hard to leave. The room was large and spacious and it had all the amenities while overlooking a well maintained garden that had a stream running through it.

Our second visit to this B&B, my family of three visited Nelspruit over a February weekend to do errands. Landlords Rina and Piet greeted us personally, helped us order take out for dinner, and provided notice on a closure of the center of town the following day. Our room was well-appointed, clean, and had a beautiful view of the woods behind. All good!

Very pleasantly surprised! The room we booked stated "mountain view". We were delighted with the view - surrounded by treetops, stream below, abundant birdlife, frogs croaking, a table and chairs on the balcony where we could enjoy coffee.
The entire place is a treasure trove of interesting artefacts and memorabilia collected over a long time. Despite the number of "things" everywhere, it is not cluttered.
The design of the room, bathroom and gardens were done with superb taste and care for guests' every comfort and enjoyment.
The down side - we only stayed for 2 nights. I would love to go back for a longer time. It is the kind of place where you can relax and restore your soul.

I wish I could have stayed longer. I will surely revisit but this time not on business but on vacation. The accommodation is excellent and super clean. Staff is very friendly and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

I stayed in the Fisherman's Cabin September 2022 for a few weeks. This was my first time in South Africa and I was travelling for research. I have been meaning to write a review to thank the owners and staff for a lovely stay. Beetleloop was very peaceful and whilst the owners were always nearby, you never felt like they were overbearing. The rooms were serviced daily and the housekeepers did a lovely job. I had an issue when I first arrived with a leaking pipe in the toilet, but the handyman came the same day and fixed this. I also had laundry whilst there which was done quickly. I really hope to return to SA one day on a holiday and if I ever return to Nelspruit I will return to Beetleloop.

A special mention of the warm and friendly welcoming by Rina and the fast and efficient check-in process. The Fisherman's Cabin was both private and peaceful...just what you need to calm the soul. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Beetleloop guest house very much. The gues thouse is in a very quiet area next to a reserve. The host and her husband welcomed us and assisted us with our luggage. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed. Access was also very easy. I would highly recommend Bdeetleloop guest house.
