La Roi is a beautiful guesthouse situated in a Wild Life estate called Ntulo in Nelspruit. It is quite difficult to get to as its in a huge Residential Estate. I cannot even begin to describe the beauty of the estate itself, upon driving in you are met with Zebras strolling about in the estate, i also spotted a lot of duikers . This house has 3 bedrooms in total and another in the cottage. It is very warm and everything is top of the range. I did find however that communicating with the hosts, was a bit challenging but that didnt stop us from enjoying our trip. They were very warm old couple (they live in the cottage) This place has four living areas and a view to die for with an infinity pool. an outside Boma fire place and braai area i really liked the design.

NB: The cellphone reception is quite poor, and they do not have wifi.

We were pleasantly surprised by the jewel tucked away in the Nelspruit wilderness. The rooms are gorgeous and the view... Breathtaking!
Only complaint would be that the aircon didn't work and there was not enough hot water to fill the bath. It was a massive tub though...
We would definitely stay here again.

This is quite possibly the best kept secret in Nelspruit when it comes to accommodations and view. However this is not a hotel at all and it is not a Boutique hotel either. This is a lovely home which has been styled on these types of establishments. The staff and manger are warm, welcoming, attentive and friendly but speak only Portuguese. We downloaded a translation app which allowed us to communicate. Breakfast was very surprising,it was neither continental or English. We are not used to eating salad for breakfast. Our eggs were precooked and placed under cling film and not to order. No bacon etc was available. We skipped this on the remaining days. The view of the valley, the zebra's, giraffe and other animals made up for this. I would suggest consider self catering rather than B&B because the accommodation is excellent.
