The Sabie River Sun's staff were friendly and efficient during the book in and out. The grounds are nice, especially the hippo dam. You can walk around the property under large trees. Rooms comfortable and food good.
Very homely experience with interaction with the chef, even though there could be some improvements in the quality of food especially breakfast. Perfect rooms especially the family units. This is a hotel with a personal touch.

There is a handful of eateries just down the road at Perry's Bridge. Further up the same road (heading out of Hazyview) is Summerfields Retreat and Spa, which has positive reviews, though we have not tried it yet.
