Since I arrived until I left the service was more than perfect. I went there for new years eve with 3 friends and we really enjoyed our stay there. It is very well located close to almost everything (malls, restaurants, parks...) very green and beautiful. The rooms are soooo comfy you feel like you are home and the breakfast very delicious. We had a problem with the car and promptly the manage team helped us. Inside they have a restaurant but unfortunatelly we didnt got the chnace to try it but i am sure the food and the service are just perfect. The first day we stayed in normal rooms (beautiful rooms) and the next days we moved to the family cottage which is perfect to accomodate a family and you feel like you are home. The only complain i have is the internet, we only had access of internet in the reception, no connection in the rooms but if you are looking for a perfect moment without distraction is perfet. Haaaa and all the rooms are equiped with ac, fridge, nice towels, coffee, tea.. The swimming pool is very beautiful.

All in all, it was an amazing service and a perfect place to disconnect. They assisted with the following.
1. Preparation for our anniversary. They organised a relaxing full body massage for my pregnant girlfriend and me, non-alcoholic and alcoholic champagne and flowers for an affordable price.
2. Suggested an amazing route to visit and view the places in Graskop and surrounding areas.
3. Their responses and communication are quick.
5. Quad biking which is just outside the gate was exactly what i needed.

Friendly owners and neat private accommodation. Will definitely go there again.
Great place to stay at when you are looking for something unique . They also have back up UPS systems in the rooms for loadshedding which is great as it powers the fan and lights!

This was really one of the best places we have stayed in. Property is in a beautiful well taken care luscious green yard. Rooms are pretty clean, breakfast was perfect. The hosts are most lovable warm hearted people. They really are passionate about people. We felt like part of the family.
Bathroom can do with a little bit of upgrading, the shower door is broken. Ohh and just look out for those small geckos around your bed before going to sleep. They are harmless but you don’t want them walking on you. Other than that we were very happy there.

We found Idle & Wild Chalet online and were so impressed by the courtesy that was extended to us during our 4 night stay. Our hosts Connie and her son Thinus delivered 5 star service. Our accommodations were so very clean and the breakfasts served to us on the veranda were incredibly delicious and made to order. It was so wonderful watching the birds enjoy the beautifully maintained gardens. One of our favorite things about Idle & Wild is they provide power even during load shedding. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again! We miss you!

Only stayed 1 night as our adventures took us further north but it was fabulous. The rondavel was charming and had just the right of cozy feel to it. Beds are comfortable. The compliment breakfast spread is delicious. The gentleman that cooks knows how to cook eggs just right! We also enjoyed the playful dogs. This is a wonderful family operated place and it's beautiful. Also dont hesitate to try the restaurant on site it's quite delicious as well (with veggie options) ! 5/5 for sure
