We found Idle & Wild Chalet online and were so impressed by the courtesy that was extended to us during our 4 night stay. Our hosts Connie and her son Thinus delivered 5 star service. Our accommodations were so very clean and the breakfasts served to us on the veranda were incredibly delicious and made to order. It was so wonderful watching the birds enjoy the beautifully maintained gardens. One of our favorite things about Idle & Wild is they provide power even during load shedding. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again! We miss you! Love Mark & Dar

Cannot beat value for money. Thinnus & family were so helpful and accomodating. Lovely big breakfast which set me up for the day. Well positioned for both Kruger and Panorama route. Only 5kms out of Hazyview but watch out for potholes. Rodavals were comfortable and well equiped kitchenette. Take your own sundowners to relax in the picturesque gardens. I can see why people want to revisit.

Stayed for 3 nights in this very pleasant B&B with roomy lovely gardens and a nice pool. Accommodation was the cottage which was pleasant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was superb - try the “Adventurer breakfast . There are some reasonable restaurants locally although watch out for the potholes when driving to them.

We stayed in this bed and breakfast for one night. We arrived before night so we could enjoy the pool (we were alone) and the so beautiful garden. The rooms are in Rondavals, very pretty and nice with its thatched roof. The breakfast was served on the terrace with a splendid view on the garden. We had fresh fruits and juices. All is prepared when ordered. The place is quiet and peaceful.

An ideal spot to spend some quality time with the family away from the hustle and bustle of Joburg. Great hosts which always make a difference when staying at hotels etc. I would definitely recommend this as a base for your Kruger holidays
