We were traveling from US and had a quick overnight stop in Hazyview before our drive into Kruger. We were welcomed by Gideon. He was very informative about the local restaurants and provided best strategies on how to visit the panoramic route main stops. He also provided us with a map that we ended up using for Kruger and panoramic route. We met Tammy at breakfast, who was really fun to chat with. She has a lot of inside information and prepared us really well for a rainy day ahead. In fact, her suggestions helped us from having a bad day on the road. Both Gideon and Tammy made our stay extra special. Thanks to you and the staff at Gecko lodge.

The Gecko Lodge is a very good place to stay. It is in wood and can be reached by a sand path. The rooms are large and clean. The people are very friendly and helpfull. The food (breakfast and diner) are good.

Friendly welcome by the staff. Good food for breakfast and dinner. Nice walk to the river along the orange vines. Nuts falling allnight on the iron roof of the room. No internet in the room. Clean. Good bed.

Great lodge with everything you need which is ran by a young and enthusiastic couple. They make you feel at home right away. Food was great also and all of the staff friendly. Only minus point for us (but hey, that's nature) we're some (bull)frogs right outside our cabin competing all night long

Dear Roger, Thank you so much for your positive review and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed Gecko Lodge. We have spoken to the frogs to be quiet, but unfortunately they don't listen :-) just joking.... we are understand the noise, but in Mating season they can be a bit loud and we are sorry for the inconvenience... but this is nature and We believe much better than noises from a loud city :-) Warm regards The Gecko Team
