Racism is very high in tshipise, they have chase me out of my stand and put me away from the white people, they mentioned that I we can't stay close to the white people. When I tell them that I want to report them they come to me and bribe me that they will give me a discount so I must not report them and I was not happy because they mistreat black people knowing that we are easily to bribe because we are poor.
THIS IS NOT MY HAPPY PLACE : THIS IS MY HEAVEN PLACE. i have been coming for 40 years and had to ring my kids. we camp....only 3 days...our budget was restricted. the swimming pool is the best in South Africa and to climb the mountain with my kids was a highlight.
Enjoyed every moment, the warm pool and walks were enjoyed every morning. Great place to go for a holiday. It is a bit expensive for pensioners not staying over for a month or so, maybe the resort can look at better pricing structures even if pensioners would like to stay in the chalets for a week or so. Thank you fa a great resort
This unit/rondawel was the smallest but most pricy of our road trip when compared to other resorts ie not good value for money. Having seperate doors for kitchen is also not ideal. the hot springs are wonderful.
On our way to KNP we booked a few days at Tshipise. Unfortunately COVID intervened and we had to cancel. Forever Resorts however were extremely good in keeping our payments as a credit so we could rebook later. Wonderful assistance and cooperation from the front office manager, Marianne Schuld. We managed to rebook 12 months later and we are definitely not disappointed. What a lovely resort, peaceful, clean, well maintained and such lovely friendly staff. The rondavel was very pleasant and well equipped including a kitchenette. The small store carries all your necessary day to day items and holiday requirements. We did a few walks around the resort, used the lovely heated pool and enjoyed the relaxation and quiet. Many thanks Tshipise for a great stay and the welcome we received.…
