This was an incredible stay for my family and I. We chose this special location to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday and every minute of our stay exceeded our expectation. Promise leads an amazing team and they were extremely accommodating and so helpful with every need - from breakfast, lunch, supper, game drives, afternoon teas, kids' needs and celebrations. We saw beautiful game, went on wonderful game drives and enjoyed the trails. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We will definitely go back! Thank you Tamar, York and Promise for sharing this experience with us.

The lodge is great and the people welcoming. The room are spacious with a large bed and a indoor bath or outdoor shower. There is a pool from which you can see zebra and others animals while swimming! There is no predators so you can walk in the large domain property or enjoy a game drive...
The food is succulent et you can relax next to a fire in the chimney...

The staff are extraordinary!! Took care of our every need without hesitation. The serenity of the location and the freedom of been amongst some wild animals was priceless. This place allows guests to tailor their vacation to suite them. Nothing rushed, nothing scheduled...just sit back and relax. This freedom makes this place stand out. Special mention to the chef. The food was delicious and consistent and made to your taste. Don’t miss the sundowner game drive with Promise. An absolute highlight of our trip!!

We had a wonderful stay at Zebras Crossing. All the staff was very nice and helpful. Promise, the manager, was very flexible about our arrival and departure, and always there to check that everyone was enjoying their time.
The rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The kids loved the outside shower! (And us as well 😉).
The sunset drive was amazing, with a wonderful view at the end of the drive. The hikes can be adapted with the age of the kids; It was really nice to see girafes during the walk.
Moreover, you can bring your bikes for the ones who like riding in the dirt roads!
I warmly recommend Zebras Crossing, especially if you can book the whole lodge with your friends...

Lovely place to visit for a short getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. We did not venture too far to see the wildlife as they was a watering hole close to the property. Kids enjoyed riding their bikes around the property. Meals were prepared well and tasted good. Dietary requirements were communicated before travel but not passed on to the chef - she was able to accommodate them on short notice. The staff were overall very friendly but need to be more attentive during meal time.

We had the most relaxing weekend at Zebras crossing lodge, a little piece of heaven easily accessible from the city. Exactly what we needed after a busy first term. Promise, York and Tamar were the most gracious of hosts, chef Toni tantalised our tastebuds at every meal and catered to our every request. We were ready to take her home. We loved the nature walks and game drives with Ranger Joe. The kids enjoyed the visits from the Zebras, ostriches and meerkats whilst having their meals, we even got to feed a zebra.

We loved our stay at Zebra Crossing! The attention to detail in terms of food, service, and game drives were done with the utmost care and consideration. The staff were just amazing. There are activities for everyone - swimming, hiking, games or just curling up with a book - we enjoyed it all.

We went with another couple to this property. The most outstanding part of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and I'm a chef's nightmare, meat must be well done, eggs boiled for 10 minutes so there's no soft yolk, lamb a definite no no, toast needs to be dry and crisp etc. Toni the chef managed to surmount all challenges! My fellow diners pronounced her lamb dish the best they have had. We loved the accommodation and the outdoor shower, however I forgot to mention to Promise, the manager, that I'm one of those people who need everything in total darkness in order to sleep and there was one window facing into the shower area that had no blind or curtain. An assortment of towels and pillows sorted out my problem though. We enjoyed all our walks and especially loved the resident meerkat and all the zebras that hang around the lodge and pool. We went on a game drive with Promise but this is more a nature reserve than a game farm and so it was pleasant but we didn't see anything outstanding. However some of the other guests were luckier than us and saw a lot more. We stayed for four nights and has a wonderful break, peace and tranquility just over two hours from home.

The rooms were spacious, very clean, lovely decorated, very "Out of Africa" Style but not too much. Outdoor shower is wonderful, I recommend a hot shower under the stars of Africa. The cuisine and the Chef, A very cool lady named Tony, were absoulutely OUTSTANDING, and we are gourmets! The staff was very very nice, discreet yet always helpful when needed. Game drives were lovely too but the best was to just lie in the pool and watch the 2 ostriches, Helga and Helga, the Merkat, the many many zebras and even the 5 giraffes come down to the pool. I recommend an early morning coffee (you can help yourself at the bar 24/7) and watch (and hear!) a herd of wilderbeest or zebras run off into the sunrise.

We spent three wonderful, peaceful days at Zebras Crossing. A big thank you to the whole team and special kudos to the chef! The location is fantastic and we had the opportunity to be very close to the giraffes and zebras.
