This is a typical "stay a night and travel on". There are about 20 rooms, each with its own parking. Sleeping quality is good (large bed, working A/C, fairly quiet), but there are no meals available on the premises. Fridge, micro wave oven, water cooker are provided, but no cutlery. Across the street is a shopping mall with several restaurant alternatives.
The place surely responds to the basic needs of the business traveller, but still - I lack a personal touch to the place.
WiFi is free, provided you sign an agreement not to misuse (defined in the T&C) it.
However, despite my signature it didn't work. Distance matter?

Comfy, clean and friendly are the words that come to mind. No noise from the town at night. Entrance is a little awkward but manageable. Lovely well kept gardens in front of each unit. Ample parking except in case of trailer unless you are booking more than one unit, then you can use the parking of the next unit for trailer. Dstv, aircon, kettle, microwave and fridge rounds off the convenience. Ideal for sleepovers.

This is a nice spot to stay over at in this region. It is situated directly opposite the mall.
The rooms, although not very large are adequate and clean. The bathrooms are good. The double bed was very comfortable and the room had a TV with a limited DSTV bouquet. There is safe, off-street, undercover parking at each room. We felt quite secure here.

Their check-in tikmes are 14H00 to 17H30 after which you will never be able to chek-in and you loose your money. We booked 4 rooms for Saturday 04 November 2023 and they refused to let us in as we arrived around 21H00 at the guesthouse> We sent them whatssapp messages and called their number without any answer. Not even a courtesy call the following day. Their checkin times are a way of making money. There is no security personnel on site

We stayed for 5 nights. I do think the place needs some attention- stains on ceiling and bathroom was in need of a touch up. However, it seems to be very popular guesthouse in Mokopane and location gets a 10/10. Wifi was poor.

Every time we travel through SA (which seems to be every 3 months), we stay here. it has everything you need. Big shower, fresh towels, tv, aircon, fridge. The booking process is always easy and simple and efficient. The only let down is the wifi which is almost non existant. This is probably our 8 visit here and we will continue using it.

The flatlet has steel cabinet/sink not inline with wooden kitchen furniture. Mold on shower wall side that is not tiled. Old bedroom furniture (Not antique). Leather couches in lounge badly scuffed. The individual rooms are preferable

This is the second time we have stayed at Marula when shooting in Mokopane.
It's clean and has secure parking.
It's quit and you can get a good nights rest.
Very central to go out for a bite to eat.
Will be back next year.

We stayed here on our way back to Botswana and found it the perfect place for a one night stop over. It has everything you need and is perfectly situated in close proximity to fuel and food which is all weer needed. The rooms are comfortable enough for you to relax in. This will probably become our stop over for all travels we do between Botswana and South Africa ( we generally travel every 3 to 6 months between the two).
