1. Beds sleep like you are at your own house.
2. Safety was first when it came to the customer.
3. Mmmmm.. Food was for a King ( Made with expatice )
4. View is to Die For believe me.

After a Long Drive From Pretoria for Business to Louis- Trichardt , this was the best place to relax and just switch off from the BIG City Life . If you want your soul to go and rest , this is the best place ever. :-)

Always a welcome relief to stop here for the night to break the journey off the road between S A and Zim. Rooms and decor are dated and getting tired but offers a safe over night stop to put your head down and rest, as well as a good meal at night and substantial breakfast.

We stayed in this accommodation overnight on our way back from Zimbabwe to Durban, S.A. It is a little off the main road, but we were very happy to spend some time in these lovely surroundings. The cottage was comfortable and the restaurant was lovely (food a little pricey)

We had another wonderful stay at the Ultimate, after frequently staying we hadn’t been in 8 years! A great place to stay on a road trip to SA, great food, comfortable rooms and most important cold beer! We had an 8 week puppy with us which was no problem to stay. Highly recommended

The room was clean, but the shower head was not functioning well. It's extremely old to an extent where it would spill water out of the shower. The waitresses are extremely friendly really appreciated the good service from both Monica and Hope. And also the Security guard for night duty was such a great help.

One thing that really bothered my fiancé and I is the amount of noise that the owner makes in the early hours of the morning, this lady is extremely rude, I think her name is Monre or Mona. She screams at employees in the morning and also yells across the hall. From 7am I'm the morning we can hear every single thing that they talk about in the office we can't even get to rest because we slept late that night.

They need to improve on the variety of beverages in the bra. Their seafood is so terrible and has no flavor.. but their Braai meat was so mouth watering.

Great place to stay, just off the motorway and in the hills so bit cooler than down on the plains. Set amongst the trees so a lovely outlook and quiet. Staff excellent & friendly. Clean, comfortable & Convivial. Meals were delicious. The best was very good Wi-Fi. We arrived for 1 night and stayed 3 !! ...will go back if we in the area again. Ultimate recommend !!

The manageress Mona was friendly and great. However, They still have an old South African flag hanging in the bar. Personally I find this offensive as it is a symbol of the former regime. The restaurant was very expensive for the quality of food. I have no problem spending money on food but when a Roquefort salad is served with milk as the dressing and the leaves are floppy it leaves me cold.

We booked into Ultimate Guesthouse as a stopover on our way to the Kruger National Park. It was very reasonable (R 900 for the night) and we had a big 2-bedroomed unit with a full kitchen. The kids loved the animals wondering around and the basic putt putt course. Small decor improvements could be made to the rooms but overall it was just what we required. Unfortunately the electric fence around the property kept "popping" during the night which made sleeping a little difficult.

We overnighted here in April 2014 on our way to Zimbabwe. This was the perfect stop for what we needed which was a nothing fancy, comfortable, safe bed for the night that was not excessively priced. We arrived fairly late and after the sun had gone down. We were taken to our rooms which although possibly not to my decor it was more than suitable for our night. The beds were comfortable and, after asking for more coffee and tea as we had drunk our allocated amount we were given a large supply with no problems.

The dinner was adequate, with a free welcome drink to start. The staff were friendly and helpful.

If you are simply looking for a convenient, safe and comfortable place to overnight on your way to and from Zimbabwe then this is ideal.

Other than a beautiful mountain view the room was appalling and the bathroom even worse. Leaking toilet, shower not working, barely any hot water & really tatty finishing s. The establishment is in dire need of restoration & maintenance. What made the experience even worse was when giving the manager some constructive criticism when checking out he became all defensive and assured me that the room was in good working order and I should have no cause to complain. When in the area stay ar 139 on Munnik.
