Loved our 5 day stay - well maintained, with wonderful managers, owners. The luxury tent was perfect with a beautiful view of the river. Most of all loved the concept of self catering, but with the evening braai prepared and delicious salads and homemade bread on offer. This is

My husband and I spent three nights in a luxury tent accommodation here. The property is well tended, the proprietors are super people, and the location is excellent. The lodge is situated along the Crocodile River, and the fence for Kruger NP runs along the front of the proper

This place really is Amazing. The rooms are actually tents, however you miss nothing compared to a hotel room. Air condition, WiFi, a roomy bathroom with a nice shower and a comfy bed. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The Braai in the evenings are a really awesome e

Hello, we are hoping to stay at this accommodation between Christmas and new year for 3 nights. We are not intending on hiring a car so would need to book transfers to and from the accommodation from the airport, is this possible and if so who is best to book with? We would also like to enquire as to how you book the safari in Kruger National Park and is there a night drive? Any information would be greatly appreciated as it is our first time on safari and want to get the best experience possible. Many Thanks x
Hi, we are wanting to do the same. Perhaps take a flight from Johannesburg to a local airport near this camp. I too am hoping to find this info. Or can we rent a car near the resort? Diane

how long to drive from Johannesburg airport to the lodge?
We arrived JNB on a late flight so It was two leg trip: 2 hours and 150 km to night stop in MIddlebourg motel , and a little less than 4 hours to final destination with few stops to make a picture etc. Roads in SA is excellent.

Is this a good place to stay to do the panorama route? How far is it from the panorama route? Thanks!
Unsure what is "panorama" route.

How do/did you arrange your trip into the safari?
We went by car coming from Johannesburg, which took us most of a day. If you plan to arrive late in the afternoon or even in the evening right in time for dinner, you should stop at some supermarket on the way and already buy some meat for the barbeque. We went on the safari with our rental car. The crocodile gaete to the Kruger is at walking distance (10 minutes) from the camp.

Hi, we will spend 2 nights in the beginning of october in this lodge, I 'm wondering if it's necessary to bring a mosquito net? thanks
Hi Lena, All our Luxury tents have Mosquito nets, but the river front suites do not. Which of our units are you booked into? Regards Ilse
