Can't rave enough about the experience at this lodge. The lodge itself is very well maintained and comfortable. The staff there is exceptional and makes you feel so welcome and at home. It's like you have known them for ever. The day is well planned giving us sufficient time to relax as well. Well planned activities for the kids as well. The highlight of course are the safaris where you get to experience wild life at it best!

Lukimbi is an incredibly beautiful lodge, set right in Kruger National Park above a little river. The rooms are all huge and stunning, giving you a lot of privacy and beautiful views (from the terrace, the bathtub, the outdoor shower or even the loo which has a nice big window overlooking the bush). There's also a lovely pool from which we could see some buffalo in the river below and relax in between the safari activities. As we stayed for only two nights we got to do four game drives and two bush walks which were all great. We saw many cool animals and learned about them from our guide. It's a very special experience to get to the wild animals as closely and at Lukimbi's private concession you barely ever see other people (only the other Lukimbi vehicles at times). We want to thank all the staff at Lukimbi for the hospitality, it was a truly memorable experience for us! …

Spending a few days in Lukimbi is magical. Such attention to detail. Fantastic accommodations, staff, food, And, most importantly, the game drives. Darren and Michael, guide and tracker, are so knowledgable and instinctively know where we can find the animals we hope to see. Their encyclopedic knowledge never disappoints. The food is delectable, There are no items that need improvement. So happy that I was able to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge with its very outstanding view. During one of my 10 safari's we spotted a pack of wild dogs and followed them for more than an our while they were chasing kudu's. An experience I will never forget.

Our experience at Lukimbi Game Lodge was nothing short of extraordinary. The memories created during our stay will undoubtedly remain with us for a lifetime. The exceptional staff at the lodge added an extra layer of magic to our visit, but it was our time with driver and tracker duo, Brendon and Teral, that truly stood out. Their vast knowledge and passion for wildlife made every one of our game drives an unforgettable adventure. Over the course of our stay, we were incredibly fortunate to witness the Big Five, the Magnificent Seven, and even the Ugly Five. What set Lukimbi Game Lodge apart for us was the unhurried pace of our safaris. Although there were occasional 'Ferrari safaris' when exciting sightings were called in, we cherished the moments when we could simply immerse ourselves in the beauty of the wild. Spending an entire hour observing a magnificent leopard was a highlight that left us in absolute awe. In fact, Leopard Day became our favorite day during our month-long journey across Africa. The enviornment is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and service is amazing. The guides and trackers that take you out ech day on two seperate 3 hr bush rides are professional and knowledgable. The animals you see are beyond amazing and it is an up close experience. I can't say enough about this place. Lovely!

We have stayed in Lukimbi Lodge for the 3rd time. The location is excellent and the staff was very friendly. However, this time we did not have the same exceptional experience like the first 2 times. You could see that some renovation work is needed. The rooms are a bit worn out (also the gym). We thought it was related with COVID but some employees explained us that the concession for the lodge in the Kruger Park might run out and therefore no big investments are done. The major disappointment was that in the last night the roof was leaking and rain was falling directly on our bed and our pillow at 3 am in the night. There was no compensation offered by the lodge which is remarkable since we paid more than 1000 USD per night for this room!
