We absolutely loved our stay at Nkambeni. From the waitstaff to housekeeping to the safari guides our stay was perfect. We especially loved the pool as it was large and the temperature perfect. The air conditioning in the luxury tent worked incredibly well making our stay extremely comfortable. Thank you for everything.

I stayed 3 nights here in August. It was my very first visit to the Kruger National Park and I didn't know what to expect when we entered this camp since it looked alot different from the Skukuza camp we drove through. The reception and restaurant area is exactly as you imagine a safari camp restaurant should look like. There is also a water hole with some hippos. Stunning pool and lush green lawn. My permanent ensuite tent was close to the entry gate. so a far walk to reception. The permanent tent was beautiful. The bathroom was well maintaned.

I was worried about but its location near Numbi Gate but the area is quite safe, we have smooth trip with no problem. The camp has great facility and helpful staff, can be quite crowded in weekend and peak season. The game drive is amazing, informative with a professional ranger, we have chance to meet 3 of the big 5 and many other animal in action. Hope that the staff can smile more =))

We had the best time at Nkambeni. The staff are so friendly, the food is great and the lodges are very authentic to the safari experience. We really enjoyed being able to see the hippos whilst having breakfast or at the pool. The hotel arranged fab safari drives for us as we saw the Big 5 on our first morning thanks to Service our guide. Would wholly recommend.

This lodge was great. We were with a tour and check in was a breeze. Our Glamping Tent was well appointed with everything we may need including air conditioning. You are right inside the park so your dame drive starts when you leave the lodge nWe we’re able to see hippos and elephant from the pool area. Breakfast was excellent! Supper at BBQ was wonderful and the buffet in the camp for supper was good. Drinks in bar were tasty and cheap! A very comfortable and friendly stay.

I was sceptical after reading some reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised. Service, room and facilities all excellent. The buffet braai was fantastic, eating outside in the boma cemented the whole African experience. The trip to the Numbi gate was quick and safe, signing in is also quite quick with the gate being so quiet. Will definitely visit again.

This was a family vacation that was one for the books! The property was amazing right inside the park. When we arrived room check in was a breeze and we got to see hippos in the pond just beyond the pool area! We had high expectations of seeing the big 5 and we’re not disappointed, we saw all but one on the first day of safari and then the tigers in day 2 both male and female. We even got to see the leopards 2x! The food and staff were amazing especially tryphina was so fun and on her game. Also Bongani, he remember our drinks and was always right there for a refill and a huge smile! If you need a pen for post-carding deputy general manager Chris is happily at your service. Enjoy your time at this camp and be sure to have an out door shower

My family and I stayed here a few days to check out the animals, we got to see all of the big five. What surprised me the most was how amazing the staff was! Chris - deputy general manager was incredibly welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Tryphina was our waitress the first night and we loved her so much that we requested her every evening! Bongani - bar tender - was a favorite of ours as well. Our safari guide was Simon and he was so much fun. We got a flat tire in the bush and he was so quick to change the tire and kept us all safe. He made sure we got to see all of the animals and provided an amazing once in a life time experience. Hubert was our tour guide from Johannesburg to Kruger and stayed with us the whole time. He made sure we got through security at the airport before departing, he went above and beyond. Altogether this was one of the the most incredible experience I’ve had in all of my travels.
