Parsons Hilltop is a safari camp, nestled in the outcrops of Balule Game Reserve, with a stunning view onto the Drakenberg mountains. We have started the new lodge since September 2018. We are situated in the Greater Kruger Area, unfenced and connected to the Kruger National Park. Our camp can best be described as rustic-chic, we have tried to keep the authentic feel to it with the comfort of a boutique hotel. We only accommodate 8 guests so privacy is guaranteed. We have 4 secluded canvas tents, all with a private viewing deck and mountain view or at the waterhole, where animals come to drink at night. All tents have en suite bathroom. The lodge offers a main lounge with a lounge deck and a plunge pool. All meals and one game drive are included in the nightly rate. We require a minimum stay of 2 nights. We can organise day trips to Kruger or to the Panorama route for you, all departing from our lodge. Our management team is waiting to welcome you at Parsons Hilltop Safari Camp.

I stayed in Parsons hilltop for couple of nights, the whole staff is very friendly, they served us very good halal food, thanks to the chef and helpers. We took two evening safaris, guide Taniya and Crissy did their best to spot the animals and provided necessary information, both ladies also helped us to plan our rest of the trip in Kruger National park. Last thing i would like to mention is Braai, it was amazing.

Our stay at the small-scale Parsons Hilltop Safari Camp was heartwarming! The location, the atmosphere and our accomodation, we all enjoyed it so much! The friendly staff took care of everything, good food and excellent service. A very intimate and personal camp, with beautiful real tents, lovely food and loads of game drives etc. All the staff was friendly and professional. It's like being on an adventure with friends. A memory that will last forever !

We passed 4 wonderful days in the Parsons Hilltop Safari Camp. In the middle of a private reserve Elephants and a Giraffe passed already our way on the road to the camp. Directly in front of our beautiful furnished tent Zebras and Impalas came to drink at the waterhole while we were sitting on the terrace! Raas is a passionate guide and led us to the best spots to see wild animals. Food was delicious, ambiance perfect. A big recommendation from our side!

The staff are fantastic friendly loved Promise with her giggles the camp is well run food fantastic hospitality the best. Tents decorated with care pillows fluffy everything clean and well planned water pressure in shower perfect! Setting overlooking the hills soul enriching definitely a must

We had a fantastic stay at Parsons Hilltop. The Lodge was lovely and relaxing . The food was great - every evening different - some nights we ate in the lodge , some by the fire outside . The rooms were great - comfortable and private. The game drives were great and we had some truly memorable encounters with elephants and lions . A special place .

A few of my close friends and I had an amazing time during our four-night stay at Hilltop. Mirjam, the manager, was incredibly kind and attentive to all our needs, which made a real difference. The staff was friendly and always greeted us with a smile, ready to assist. The accommodations at Hilltop had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decorations that added a nice touch. And let's not forget the food – it was absolutely fantastic. Tapelo and Patience, the talented chefs, consistently served up delightful meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The game-drives were a standout as well, and credit goes to the skilled ranger Ras for making it all the more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was spotting lions right by the lodge. Picture this: my friends and I were on the balcony of our tent when we heard the sounds of animals drinking at a watering hole just ten meters away. When we shone our flashlight, we were treated to the sight of two serene lionesses enjoying a drink. This moment will stay with me forever. I want to express my sincere appreciation to the entire Hilltop team for creating such a wonderful experience for us. A beautiful boutique location where all small details fit in a natural and gorgeous way. The crew was personal, charismatic and warm. We are with a family with 5 and all found this the most impressive location. We were lucky with visiting elephants. We clearly recommand this location.

We booked the three night package which we found was a good way to get varied view of the area's flora and fauna. The staff, the game drives and meals provided were excellent. A very enjoyable stay and we would recommend the camp.
