We absolutely LOVED our four days at Kuname Lodge! By the second day of our stay, our guide and tracker had brought us to the Big Five and so many more! The food was heavenly and plentiful. We loved the little touches, like the towels on our beds folded into little elephants bedecked with purple flowers and the African sayings on our pillows every night (with chocolate treats!)

Awesome place! Great Service and a wonderful selection of foods for each meal. Our lodge was beautiful and everyone who worked there was friendly and inviting. Enjoy the early morning Safari and the night ones were the best. We saw a leopard our first night out! Our spotter showed us tracking signs /footprints of the many animals we saw on each safari. A welcome back drink each day was wonderful and gave us time to meet new friends.

Kuname is a small lodge offering 5 chalets and the manor house, but what stands out is the setting and the friendly staff. From the warm welcome upon your arrival until your departure, the staff at Kuname ensure that your every requirement is met - nothing is too much for this team. Rooms are clean and well appointed, and in addition to the indoor shower, offer an outdoor shower and bath, set in your own enclosed garden. The meals are exceptional and offer a great variety. Our Ranger Eddie and tracker Mosco were knowledgeable, professional and ensured all our questions were answered. They went out of their way to ensure that the best sightings were seen, the vehicle was clean and that our eats, which were individually packed due to covid, were available. For those who want to relax and enjoy nature, this lodge is definitely recommended.…

Kuname Lodge is a small beautiful lodge, with swim pool, excellent bedrooms, food and helpful staff. The two drives a day provided great animal sightings, all in Karongwe Private Reserve. Well worth a visit.

We had a great time at Kuname Lodge, the hosts were wonderful and the guides on the tour were fantastic. I loved the breakfast buffet and we had so much fun with the other guests on the trip! Such a lovely time and we even had a surprise romantic dinner in the wine cellar. Beautiful stay and would recommend to anyone looking to go for a game drive!

The lodge is beautiful with rooms in the outbuildings that provide more than expected amenities. Peaceful surroundings where you can relax with friends or just by yourself and read or talk about the activities of the day. Anita and Andre were our hosts and Adolph and Mosco were are guide and tracker for our drives. Everyone was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The food served was tasty with fresh ingredients locally bought.

It was such a pleasure to spend time in this oasis of calm. Great service, excellent food, beautiful game drives and an all round lovely experience. We can’t thank everyone enough and, of course, especially Eddie and Mosco for excellent game drives. Sad not to see a leopard but not because the guys didn’t try hard. More than made up by a baby elephant, baby lion cubs, baby rhino and baby zebra amongst others. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Kuname lodge for two nights. From the moment the we arrived every need was taken care of. Anita and Andre were always on hand if we needed something and they made sure that we were well looked after. We visited all the lodges while were were at Karongwe and were amazed by the high level of hospitality that every staff member showed. We are looking forward to sending our guests to Karongwe. We know they will be looked after.

We have stayed at the Kuname for 3 nights, and we have spent a perfect time there. A confortable room tidied twice a day, excellent food, a very kind personnel. Two safaris a day, one at 5,30 am and one at 4 pm. An unforgettable experience in the wilderness which we owe to Mosco, the tracker, and Adolph, the driver.
