We spent the most wonderful 5 nights at Nyala Safari Lodge over New Year Brilliant location, wonderful rooms and our knowledgeable guide Christelle managed to show us the big 5 and one of our best leopard sightings to date Will definitely be back
Caroline and myself spent two nights at Nyati Lodge and its an extremely special spot deep in the bush in the Maseke Game Reserve over looking the beautiful Oliphant's River. In future I would definitely spend longer here to really relax and enjoy everything the lodge has to offer. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable, always smiling and making you feel at home. We stayed in the spacious 2 bedroom Olifants Villa which had its own swimming pool and huge deck to relax on while viewing game on the Olifants river. The food was very tasty and enjoyed in the relaxed dining area also overlooking the Oliphant's river. There is also a large swimming pool at the main lodge that guests are able to use, which we found very relaxing while sipping on a cocktail. The lodge offers other activities on top of two game drives a day, namely quad biking, a golf driving range, a gym, and a spa. Overall and extremely enjoyable stay and I would recommend this lodge for families or couples who are really looking at time off relaxing in the bush.…
I recommend more than one thousand time this Wonderfull SAFARI lodge ! I stayed with my wife, 3 nights and we will never forget this experience. We were so lucky that we have seen the big 5. Our guide Brandon was very nice and helpful.
Our experience at Nyati was in a word...AMAZING. From the moment you arrive at the lodge, which is more than 10km into the thick bush of the South Africa lowveld, you know that you are cut off from the rest of civilisation and that you can prepare yourself for some true rest and relaxation away from it all. We stayed with our two daughters aged 8 and 11 in a luxury tent on the banks of the river which was a great experience for the children and more than enough space for a family of four with young children. Hearing the calls of the wild at night and seeing the heavens so bright makes for a truly memorable experience. Our four day stay included new Covid restrictions and all the staff did a tremendous job in trying to be as accommodating as possible to all guests given the very difficult circumstances of having to wear masks in public and not being able to serve alcohol. The meals were five star and had something for everyone, including using a lot of local wild game in the dishes. Because we only stayed for 3 nights we decided to go on all the morning and evening game drives which is such a great experience. Our two rangers Zaan and Karel were extremely knowledgeable and made a lot of effort with our two daughters to explain animal tracks and animal behaviour which made them feel very special. Thank you to all the staff for making this a great vacation and lastly thank you to Josef (barman) for all the cocktails...until Covid shut down the bar unfortunately. Nyati is a true African bush experience which we will always treasure.…
Very few animals, drivers are not experienced at all, wasting time and energy on the uncomfortable car and road, pool management by schoolboys. Very bad choice for safari here. Good point is the bar and environment of restaurant, food also ok service are nice, they tried their best, though not satisfying.
