We stayed at the Call of the Wild Lodge for one night on our way to Thornybush Game Reserve. Deon and Sue were welcoming and generous hosts. Deon drove us to Sleepers Restaurant for supper and collected us afterwards. Thank you, Deon, your kindness was much appreciated. The breakfast was amazing! Highly recommended. Thank you Sue and Deon. PS Sue, you were right. We loved our visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.

Owners kind and nice persons. Accommodations were clean and nothing was missing. The place itself is located in a wonderful park, where is possible to watch animals while having breakfast or being seated in the garden.

The location was great-got to see giraffes, nyala, impala, and tons of birds just walking around the property. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us plan transportation and tours.

A very peacefull place to stay in a wild park with many animals. We were lucky enough to have breakfast with Zazou ans Pumba. After breakfast we went for a walk and we encounter 4 girafes. The room and the beds were excellent. The host very wellcoming and helpful.

A very nice, calmed place in the middle of Hoedspruit. Very surprising because it is like being in a nature reserve, so yoi have the opportunity to walk and interact with local fauna (zebras, antelopes). The lodge is very cozy and the hosts are amazingly kind and helpful but not-intruding even if the lodge acts also as their own beautiful home. Kudos to the staff and to the delicious breakfast.

Dan and Sue are the perfect hosts. Every need asked and unasked for are taken care by them. They made sure we and our kids are warm for Safari , they prepared the best picnic basket ever anf prepared the most scrumptious breakfast the next day. Two days passed in a jiffy. The magic touch is in the small things on the bed, like a good night chocolate, a cognac for a night cap, a fridge full of goodies for night muching, 100s of books and board games, lots of seating areas for every person to ly down and relax, perfect bonfire, more than enough barbecue options, and We can go on and on. Thank you so so much for being wonderful warm hosts. It's a must stay for all.

Super nice lodge in an amazing setting, great walks: just open the fence and meet the Kudu's, nijala's, warthogs maybe even a giraffe. Very nice bedrooms and beds and your own private terras. Really perfect to stay for at least a couple of days. Very friendly and super helpful hosts; if you have a problem they go out of their way to help you. Delicious breakfast Highly recommended!!
