We Desiree Fleur and Bram stayed at Thornhill Safari Lodge for 2 nights ; everything was lovely : the reception, the Safari walk by Lems, the big 5 game drive ; the evening dinners ; the start. Sweet memories !
Huge shout out to Vincent (manager), David (bartender), Lambs (hilarious man, our bush walk guide),George (jack of all trades, our safari guide, cycling guide), and Douglas and America (chefs) for making our 3 day stay memorable. The staff is hardworking yet genuine, real, and hilarious. The interactions is something I will remember for a long time. Oh, the wild animals are awesome, too.
There is a lot of good things to say about Thornhill. In the surroundings of the hotel its possible to see some animals, like giraffes, buffalos, zebras, monkeys.. The installations are very comfortable and the pool saves the day in the hot weather. The food is excellent, thanks to the chefs Amilcar and Douglas! When the weather is good you can have dinner outside and its a great opportunity to meet the other guests. The safaris (Full Day in Kruger and Big 5 Game) were both excellent with great guides, we saw many many animals. Also, don't miss the Bush Walk, it's very informative, we were amazed with all the information our guide Goodman gave us. Merle and Sean, thanks for everything and congratulations to the amazing staff you have, always smiling and being king and helpful to…

We had a fantastic experience at Thornhill Safari Lodge! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the accommodation was amazing. We saw so many different animals around us all the time. Thank so much for the special memories! We will never forget the pure African experience! Just a friendly request... A flat screen TV would be nice in the bar, so that next time we can watch Liverpool with Vincent and Goodman! :)
