We stayed for 3 nights; one night in Villa Leadwood and 2 night in the family-wing of Villa Mlahbeni. Both were exquisite; absolutely fabulous, we felt like kings. Private pool, terrace, fire-place,….you name it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The chefs create amazing, locally flavored food. Not cheap, but what you get in return blows your mind!
We stayed at Unembeza for two nights and we were thoroughly spoiled. From the moment they met us at our car to when they waved us goodbye, they treated us like special friends. We had dinner there both nights, which was lovely, as well as delicious breakfasts lovingly prepared. The Spa treatments were top class and our guided walk was so informative! We enjoyed drinks on the lookout deck and a fire in the evenings. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated and the G&G toiletries were a true spoil. We will definitely be back!
In April I did start planning a holiday in South Africa and have then discovered this property through tripdavisor. Given the excellent reviews I have also decided to book my stay with this wonderfull place and have since then been really overwhelmed by the support, especially by Charlotte. I would like to highlight that, also my planning was a it more complex all requested options have been provided and being listed. I would also recommend to have a look at the packages Unembeza offers as these can be individualized and offer various activities including visiting Kruger National Park, Massages, Dinner and Mountain Biking. All wishes and considerations I made in the planning have been considered and I would like to highlight the outstanding level of services received by Unemebeza…
Wish we could have stayed forever! Unembeza was so luxurious, especially after 4 nights in Kruger park - the design is beautiful, modern & the lodges feel very private. We loved every breakfast & dinner and enjoyed exploring the nature reserve on foot or with mountain bikes. Amazing indoor & outdoor shower and a huge, comfortable bed. We were also able to rent a car nearby no problem. Loved our stay!
We went for a 1 night stay and then decided to go back for 3 nights. The place is so tranquil & our stay was phenomenal . The food was amazing and the staff was welcoming and friendly. African Wood Massage is a definetely must!
Visited Unembeza with Family and it was great. It was beautiful and serene. We enjoyed our stay. The food was great but wished the menu was more flexible. Kids enjoyed the nature drive they were given an opportunity to ask a lot of questions and get answers. The Unembeza team is amazing we felt welcomed and taken care of. Wish our stay was longer.
Unembeza Boutique Lodge has out did themselves in ensuring I had the best birthday getaway. Thanks to Constance for making us feel at home and being able to make sure our stay was comfortable. The food was delicious. Not forgetting our morning Walk guide Sbusiso. The man knows a lot of trees. We were so informed from that session. Our saterdah dinner was just classic and elegant. The place can just host any type of occasion. I was so overwhelmed. The rooms were so luxurious, I never enjoyed my sleep like I did at Unembeza. Big up for luxury, tranquility and class at Unembeza.
We were absolutely blown away by this little gem in the heart of Hoedspruit! From the moment we arrived at the lodge, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The spa is 5 star and exactly what we needed after our wedding! The honeymoon suite was amazing, especially the little turndown surprise we got after dinner with flower petals and champagne. The food was incredible, breakfast and dinner blew our minds and the waitresses were super friendly especially Sindile & Jessica. Highly recommended for sure! We will be back!
After chasing a day of animal scouting in Kruger Unembeza is the great oase of enjoyment and rest in the surroundings. It is a great location for sleeping, dining with great personal service. In the morning during breakfast you can scout warthogs. The name Unembeza says it all! A true recommendation
Brilliant lodge, the room and facilities were incredible. The staff were amazingly friendly and the guides and trips to the national park were out of this world. All members of staff involved here were amazing. My only drawback is me and my partner are both vegan. This wasn't an issue at all at meal time. But it was almost like being vegan was forgotten outside of meal time. I.e. there was cows milk in our room and milk chocolate left on our bed, nice gestures but would be brilliant if they had the vegan alternatives already in position before us reminding them.
