Inspired by the distinctive beauty of the South African vineyards and the country’s rich viticulture, our luxurious guest house provides a friendly haven in the sea-side town of Ballito. Enjoy superb sundowner ocean views from the terrace, a pleasant tea in the forecourt with its shady grapevine, or relax in the quiet privacy of the pool surrounds. Couldn't rate The Vineyard any higher. I visit my family annually from Aussie and after 3 flight over 30 hours an additional 2 hour drive on South African roads to the family farm is not always top on my list. I regularly stay at The Vineyard where I am always welcomed in a warm and friendly manner to clean, comfortable facilities and always a delicious homemade goodie.

Its a fabulous location to relax and they often let me check out late no problem at all. Sadly going to miss my stay this year due to Covid - 19 and no flights.

Thank you to Desiree and Lynell as well as all their friendly and efficient staff for the most spectacular experience at this remarkable guesthouse. Surroundings are neat, beautiful, well organised and very clean and is reminiscent of an Italian Villa in the vineyards. Guestrooms have everything you need and are comfortable and spacious with lovely balconies overlooking the sea. Breakfasts are sumptuous and absolutely delicious, well done to Desiree. Home baked cakes and biscuits are available at all times for guests, these are beautifully baked, thanks to Lynell. Nothing to fault this place on, a truly amazing gem in the heart of Ballito!

Just a quick thank you to the Vineyard. As usual we had a wonderful stay.
They really make it pleasant to stay there. The attention to details is so professional. There are always brownies and cookies on the table. Can help yourself any time of day or night. Beach towels are put in little have sacks so they can be carried to the beach etc
..etc

On our arrival we were greeted by Desiree who offered us tea and wonderful homemade cakes to enable us to relax after our journey, before being shown to our room, it was very much appreciated. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and has a lovely homely feel to it. At breakfast was a delight with great choices available, we chose a souffle omelette cooked by Desiree it was amazing. We had a Seaview from our room. We would definitely stay here again!

Once again we had the most beautiful stay in the vineyard on ballito. We woke up to the most heavenly smells coming from the kitchen and had a hearty breakfast served by the lovely twins. It's the most relaxing experience, sitting on the balcony, overlooking the sea and have a sundowner. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the pool was crystal clear. The afternoon cake was delicious ....we will be back again.

We had the pleasure of spending a few days at The Vineyard on Ballito over the festive season. We stayed in the luxurious Morgenhof suite. It was very comfortable and spacious. We were looked after very well by the staff. The breakfast prepared ever morning was simply delicious! We would highly recommend The Vineyard on Ballito.

I stayed at The Vineyard for two nights. I wish it had been more, the room including the floors were super clean. Breakfast was always freshly made, tailormade and very delicious. The biscuits left out downstairs for guests made for a special homely touch. Lynell was very accommodating and went the extra mile to offer help where needed. We will definitely be going back- kids in town next time as the place is very family friendly

Our stay at The Vineyard was exceptionally enjoyable. We loved our room and its view of the ocean
and Lynell and Desiree were pleasant, helpful and most accomodating. But there's more: anyone with a sweet tooth will love it! There are complimentary home-baked breads and pastries available morning, noon and night - with all the wonderful aromas that go with homemade goodies! Truly a treat!

This was the second tine I have stayed here and there has been some upgrading to the rooms since my first visit. The room I had was the same one as previously but had been re-decorated and had a more modern appearance to it. The view across to the Ocean is amazing. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The welcome one gets is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was perfect with lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals. The coked breakfast was cooked on request and was hot and delicious. I would gladly recommend this guest house to anyone. It is in a very quiet street just a short drive from the beach bur far enough away not to be troubled by any form of noise.

This is such a special place one hesitates to recommend it, lest it be discovered by so many people that one is unable to return. Every little luxury is catered for, from a special beach towel in a handy beach bag to bathrobes and a crystal clear pool. Fancy breakfast? Prepare to be offered Eggs Benedict or an omelet souffle. Backup during loadshedding? Check. You won't miss more than 10 seconds of electricity. Add to this unintrusive, almost bashful hospitality, and one asks oneself: What more can you want? I loved it.
