This hotel must decide are they a hotel or a nightclub over weekends. As paying guests in the hotel there is absolutely no private/exclusive space. The pool / bar area is totally overrun by outsiders and you are lucky if you get a table. The noise levels from the bar/pool area continue until very late . Never again and i will not recommend to anyone

The staff at the hotel were great, from reception to the restaurant. They were accommodating and friendly.
The room was of a good size, lovely design. The bed was very large and comfortable. The shower was also of a good size, but it could have been cleaner in some spots.
Breakfast was very good! There was no omelet station, but everything else was available. The coffee was excellent too.
Slight noise in the early evening, but that's due to the size of the hotel, location of the rooms in relation to the restaurant below. But all was quiet after 22:00.
I would recommend and stay again.

Our very lively group of 12 spent an incredible long weekend in the warm embrace of the Coco De Mer. Hotels are still walls and doors and beds and obviously all those boxes have to be ticked, but this Hotel ticks boxes well beyond any expectations. Bar none, their staff are exceptional, DAY and NIGHT and even when taken unawares they shine and deliver. Was everything perfect- no it wasn't - but neither were we the perfect guests all the time but not for one minute did they make us feel like we were less than completely welcome. Bravo! Don't know how you do it, but keep doing it.

Accommodation was awesome and very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite especially the team working the breakfast shift.
Although a 4 start rated established there were some areas that lacked attention to detail, on arrival very little assistance to get rooms - noting this because i was injured and struggled with the lift because I couldn't use the stairs

I went with a friend and we each had a room which were both absolutely lovely and tastefully decorated. Beds were huge and very comfortable. The Spa was incredible with great therapists. Breakfast was really great and service was excellent. All round everything was perfect except the weather but that is completely out of their control.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Coco De Mer before heading up to Kruger. The location was great one block from the ocean. Our room was very nice. We had a delicious dinner at the Fiamma Grill. We had a good breakfast as soon as the restaurant opened so not all the stations were available yet but still plenty to eat before our early pick up time.

It was the most subliminal experience; from the property standards to the staff and the vibe.
The staff were absolutely outstanding. The food and service at the Flamma restaurant was divine.
Had a seafacing room, where one could see the beach and hear the crashing of the waves.

We did a girls trip to Ballito, as going overseas isn't an option currently, and decided on the Coco de Mer hotel. From the time we arrived to the time we left, 7 days overall, we had the most outstanding service! The breakfast staff were amazing, by day two they knew who we were and how we took our coffee. We didn't have to order, it would just arrive at our table! The rooms are large and very comfortable, we stayed in the Sea View Suites. After eating at the Fiamma Grill on the first night we didn't bother to venture out to any other restaurant the entire stay. The food is glorious, delicious and the presentation is outstanding. We loved every moment of our stay. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The Simbiosis spa is beautiful and the treatments are divine. Overall what an amazing place!!! Thank you to everyone for making it a memorable week.

From the moment you drive up to the security gate to the time one departs the staff are friendly, professorial and always have a smile. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean, the restaurant offers good food and very friendly service. will defiantly be back for a relaxing stay.

"The seafacing room was wonderful. All rooms are 1 short trip up on floor 1. They have an elevator for luggage, etc. Try the Simbiosis spa on the property."
