Our favourite stay in the Garden Route! The views are just amazing. Kevin and Elsie were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very spacious with lots of natural light and a big and comfortable bed. Breakfast was served at the balcony with views to the lake. The house is very close (5mins drive) to nice restaurants, hiking/kayaking activities and different beaches. Highly recommended!

Fleeing from a cow field supposed to be a campsite, we had the pleasure of finding a very nice room and very friendly hosts. We enjoyed an elegant room with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The dinner prepared by kavin was also excellent. Highly recommanded Eric - Reunion island

The owner is very friendly and caring and it was nice and interesting to chat with him. The room is modern and has an incredibly amamzing view. The breakfast was very tasty. We enjoyed our stay a lot, it's a pity we stayed only for one night.

We were tipped by a befriended tourist guide that we MUST book at Interlaken Guest house and that ik was worth a detour. Well, we did and it was beyond expectations! Elsie and Kevin were great hosts, besides making a tasty breakfast every day (breakfast with a view), they gave good tips for restaurants and things to do. We also spoke about life in SA and got to know their background (Elsie about her Dutch background and Kevin about his careerchange). We had fantastic rooms, beds but the view during sunrise and sunset was the best. We highly recommend Interlaken guesthouse in Wilderness.

Super friendly hosts with Tipps for the area, lovely house with a beautiful view. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We slept very well in the beds. very good self made breakfast. We will come back :)

An excellent overnight stay. The room, view and breakfast exceeded our already high expectations. Kevin and Elsie were great hosts ensuring we had everything we needed. Wilderness beach was a memorable walk and swim the next day.

We have done many road trips around S.A and stayed in many places and Interlaken is definitely one of the best from there spectacular views of the lake, beautiful sunsets, clean rooms, comfy beds and the delicious breakfast prepared by Elsie, and Kevin they are such a lovely friendly couple and make you feel at home. We just wished we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back. THANK YOU for an amazing 2 days.

I got a warm welcome from Kevin and Elsie. The place is amazing, spotless clean and sunsets feel very special, the light's hue is quite something! You also get all convenience if you need wine or water for example, it's already there. If you are looking for something more remote, note that we can still hear a few cars on the main road from the room.

The views are impeccable, and the rooms are cozy, but your hosts are what make your stay special. Kevin and Elsie are so welcoming, fun to chat with... I left feeling like I'd made new friends and look forward to returning one day. Kevin is an excellent cook (breakfast was delicious) and Elsie is quite funny and so hospitable. Thank you both!

Easy to find and well signposted off the N2 about 2 miles from main town so own transport advisable. Stunning views from both bedrooms. Both rooms bright , and very clean. Beds very comfortable with excellent quality sheets ..makes all the difference. Kevin produced a fabulous cooked breakfast- the very best I have had ! Elsie very friendly and extremely knowledgable about area and booked local activities for us . We had an evening meal in their home and had a superb barbecue and were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend.
