We have booked this accommodation for 1 night during our Gardenroute-roadtrip.
It was a nice little room incl. separate bathroom, very clean and furnished with love.
Although it was really very small we enjoyed very much our stay.
The breakfast was also very good and the staff was very friendly and courteous
We recommend to book the quite rooms with seaview because the garden rooms are located near a ringroad. The beach is very close to accommodation, also a supermarket and restaurants.

We stayed for five enjoyable days, primarily focussing on golf and eating out in good restaurants. Our aims were more than satisfied. We had a lovely bedroom with a small sitting area, where we could entertain our friends to pre-dinner drinks if the weather was cool. Otherwise, the garden/patio was ideal. The two staff ladies were not only very helpful but proved to be amusing company. The wonderful beach is one minutes walk away, and Wilderness restaurants/shops can be accessed quickly through a passageway by the side of the house. Serendipity and Girls are a must to eat out! We loved the atmosphere at Wilderness-on-Sea, and would definitely return.

We took a short break and decided to not travel far from our home town Mossel Bay but also wanted to experience something different, so we decided on Wilderness. Wilderness on Sea is perfectly located a mere 100 meters from the beach and a very easy 5 minute walk from the Village where everything happens.
The room was well quipped, with a spacious bathroom (very large walk-in shower) and lovey mountain views. Full English breakfast was tasty and well prepared by caring and friendly staff. The owner was hands-on from booking in to serving breakfast.
The Village has a wide variety of excellent restaurants all within easy walking distance from Wilderness on Sea. There are also many other things to do and see in this area, so next time we will stay a bit longer!!

We were very impressed with the B&B. Very clean and a very accommodating hostess. we were booked in one of the smaller rooms and she suggested we move to a bigger room. Everything we needed was in the room as well as slippers and beach towels. Very close to both the centre of town and the beach. excellent stopover.

There are many many B&B's along Sands Road in The Wilderness , Wilderness on Sea being one of them , easily visible from the N2 Highway on the opposite side of the road to the Caltex Garage. The beach is literally 1 minute away across the road down a sidewalk . Sands road stretches a good few hundred metres with beach access points all along the way reaching a dead end where one finds a few kiosks & a beach with lifesavers. Our family stayed in room 3 & room 7 , room 3 is inside & 7 on street side . Room 7 is bigger & has a seating area. Rooms have a tea/coffee stations , lovely big showers. Just behind the premises one can access a tunnel taking you to restaurants , art shops , The Spar - Grocer . Some interesting places to visit within The Village should you want some real German food or some pancakes , fish & chips etc . All within a few hundred metres . The Lagoon is also close by & well worth the walk as the wooden walkway is right on the waterway.

We enjoyed a nice full breakfast & had access to the kitchen when we braaid/barbequed for dinner . It was peaceful with sufficient parking upfront off street . Certainly an enjoyable short stay

We were only in Wilderness for one night. This guesthouse was very good. Our sea view room was tiny for two people, but we were glad for the view. The TV did not work. It is very close to the beach, and also a very short walk (under a dodgy underpass) to the shops and restaurants in the town. All in all a good option for the price.

I had a truly lovely stay at Wilderness on Sea B&B. My room was clean and comfy and contained everything I might require for my stay, and went out onto a pretty garden in which I could relax and plan my day over a morning coffee. The B&B is walking distance from the Wilderness village and only a few steps from the beach, so therefore very conveniently located. I can't wait for my next stay - highly recommended!

Good location close to the beach and village center. Room a bit worn and very small. Not even possible to have one suitcase open. Landlady very friendly and arranged breakfast half an hour earlier than official time

The B&B is very new and has a very good location. Unfortunately we had a room with a terrace facing the street - it is very loud if you sit there. But it is only a few meters walk to the beach. The breakfast is also good and otherwise you have peace and quiet there.

Unfortunately there were no plates and cutlery in the room. But we got them when we asked.
