Almost halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on the internationally renowned Garden Route and nestled between mountains and golden beaches, you will find one of South Africa's most favoured holiday destinations, the seaside village of Wilderness. Wilderness Manor is an elegant and refined guest house overlooking the beautiful Wilderness Lagoon, in the heart of the scenic village of Wilderness. Step out of the front door and cross the road onto the boardwalk for an easy and safe stroll to beaches, restaurants and village shops. Relax in the spacious guest lounge or reading lounge, with superb views from the balconies overlooking the lagoon. Wilderness Manor is luxuriously decorated in an African colonial style with fine oriental rugs, heirlooms, antiques, art and collectables which contribute to a refined and stylish ambience. Retire to the serenity of four stylish en-suite bedrooms: three luxury and spacious lagoon facing rooms on the second floor with superb views of the lagoon and one standard garden room on the ground floor with a private garden / patio. Look forward to our Continental buffet and English breakfast served in our breakfast room, opening onto a sunny balcony overlooking the indigenous forest where the Knysna Loerie often comes to feed... Whether you are passionate about water sports, hiking, extreme adventure or animal encounters, the Garden Route and Klein Karoo has something for you. CHILD POLICY: Wilderness Manor is not suitable for infants and children younger than 12 years of age.

From the moment you enter Wilderness Manor Guest House, it is easy to believe that you are an appreciated and loved member of a royal family. Gerald and JD's lovely house is grand and pristine in every minute little detail, and you are received as royalty. The rooms and bathrooms are grandiose, the view magnificent, but the overall and lasting impression is that of a friendly and warm embrace. Breakfast is a feast, with personal attendance by our charming hosts. There is only one place to be if you stay in Wilderness - at Wilderness Manor.

Our hosts were ready to meet us upon arrival and immediately extended a warm welcome. We were taken around the significant property and shown to our beautiful suite which comprised a lot more than we expected. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished in a contemporary style. It was spotless and I am difficult to please. The beds were comfortable and the crisp ironed white linen was a delight. There is a delightful walk along the boardwalk which is on the nearby picturesque lagoon.Breakfast was extravagant and the hosts could not have done more to please us.

Another lovely stay in this fabulous guesthouse. Gerald and JD are excellent hosts and look after you so well in every respect. They are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We like Room 4 which has stunning views of the lagoon. It is a large room with a balcony and a lovely new bathroom. Breakfasts are excellent with so much choice on the buffet and we think the best scrambled eggs in SA. We look forward to our stay next February which we have already booked.
