We had a really lovely spacious twin aspect room which was very comfortable and had nice touches like a Nespresso machine. There was also half bottles of wine which could be purchased for just 50 rand. The management and staff were really friendly and helpful.
Location is great, very easy walk to restaurants and fantastic beach.
Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this lovely guest house.

huge Comfortable and quiet room with an amazing bathroom. The bed was very comfortable the room spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bathroom was huge with toilet, bidet, basin bath and the biggest shower I have ever used! South Africa is currently experiencing a water shortage so we did not use the bath but the shower was powerful. Room was air conditioned and had a fridge and tea making facilities with an excellent range of teas as well as TV 2 arm chairs etc. The breakfast buffet was lovely, beautiful fresh fruit, freshly cooked to order hot breakfast as well as breads yoghurts cereals etc. They catered for my milk intolerance too providing me with lactose free milk. Staff were really welcoming and showed us around explaining everything. There was even a bar with an honesty box so you could help yourself! There was a pool, a garden with a tropical feel. We sat on the terrace for breakfast under a shade and watched the birds. This was our favourite hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
Wilderness itself is lovely, compact and easy to walk around with some lovely restaurants. The beach is beautiful.
It is worth mentioning that South Africa has been having power cuts on a daily basis which is known as load shedding. At the time of our visit this was for 2 hours twice a day. This is not the fault of the hotel and is country wide. They are at planned times and this hotel was great as they were upfront with us as to when they would be. Sometimes they were in the middle of the night so didn’t affect us. However we were provided with Battery operated lights

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review for us. You have really touched on every single aspect of the hotel & what you have enjoyed about your time with us. To say that we appreciate your extensive feedback is an understatement. WOW! Thank you so so much!! To be called a "favourite" is such an honor. Nothing makes us happier than to see our time and effort and little attentions to detail come full-circle and that our guests can walk away with a stunning experience and wonderful memories. We hope that you get the chance to travel down to the garden route again in the future and hopefully then would be able to stay a little longer as well. All the best wishes, Yzelle & the Cinnamon Team

Room 5 was delightful with it's balconies. No request was too much with an excellent taxi service on tap. Reservations were made at local restaurants - do go to Joplins for best steaks ever. Cinnamons breakfasts were pretty good with a pleasant outside pool area where local birds are encouraged to feed. All in all a top stay.

It's so important because that does become your home-away-from-home while you are travelling. We arrived at this guesthouse at 1am as my husband had been admitted to a local hospital . Despite the late hour my son and I couldn't have been made more welcome . Our room was very spacious and light with a lovely balcony . Early evening someone would come round and offer us a chocolate which was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious and there are several restaurants within a 5 mins walk for dinner . There is an honesty bar downstairs with a large range of drinks . Amazing staff ...thoroughly recommend a stay here

We are so thrilled that you were able to still have a good experience given the tough situation with your hubby in hospital. We are happy that we good at least make sure that your stay was comfortable and that you were surrounded with a friendly atmosphere and that small touches like the chocolate made such a big impact. We definitely are so blessed being so well located in the center of the Wilderness Village. We hope you are all doing well and keeping healthy and if you are ever back in South Africa, please come and visit us again. All the best wishes, Yzelle & the Cinnamon Team

Ignore the drab looking entrance and the tight car parking and you will find a peaceful oasis. We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. The fresh milk in the fidge was replenished daily as was the complimentary bottle of water per person. The Manager, Ann, and all her staff were very courteous and attentive. They recommended 3 good restaurants in the village which were easily accessed by a remote controlled gate at the rear of the property - The Girls, Pompodoro and the Blue Olive. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

We had a pleasant stay at Cinnamon boutique house.
We appreciate the management’s flexibility allowing us to amend reservation dates due to unforeseen circumstances. The environment was calming with beautiful bird sounds. Cleaning was always done nice and early while we enjoyed breakfast 😊 With the Milkwood village just a 5 minute walk away, we had all amenities and restaurants nearby and it’s a walking distance to the beach.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

One of the loveliest guest houses I have ever stayed in. Tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Ann the GM was extremely welcoming. Complimentary drink and a freshly cooked breakfast all added to a most pleasurable stop over. Our only regret was that we were only there the one night. High quality linen and an extremely comfortable bed. Will definitely return in the future. All the necessary Covid protocols in place.

We stayed at the Cinnamon Boutique Guest House in wilderness recently. We booked last minute after returning from family in Calitzdorp. Was a short distance to George airport for a very early morning flight back to Jhb.
It’s absolutely a little gem of a hotel, beautifully designed, the staff, friendly and attentive, well informed and could even answer questions about surrounding areas and answered some questions about the trees and birds we spotted in the garden. We were, are so impressed. Overall 10/10. Beautiful clean room. We are definitely returning December 2020.

Cinnamon is a stunning B&B 5 Stars just off the highway in a quiet road within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. It is nestled in a beautiful private garden and if quiet and bird watching is your thing instead of the sun, sand and wind this is ideal. Their Covid-19 protocols are top notch and the staff and super friendly and efficient. Lovely food and great hospitality, thank you.
