Dune Beach House is located close to the beaches with lifeguards. In Wilderness this is something to keep in mind since the ocean is quite dangerous. The guest house is also within walking distance from a good restaurant called Salina's. This is a beautiful property. We stayed in the Ocean room. The room has a small seating area with a coffee station. The coffee station included a coffee machine. There is also a small deck in front of the room with views of the beach. If you want sunset views consider the rooms on the other side of the house - I think Sea Shell? I liked the glass table in the room with a mirror which made it easy to use a hair dryer or to organise what to pack for your activities on the day. I also enjoyed the large built-in cupboards. The mini-fridge is located inside the built-in cupboard which is excellent since you can close the door and you won't hear the fridge at night. I approached my stay at the end of our holiday as a mini spa break and enjoyed the fact that the glossy bathroom has a bath and shower. The pool area will be nice on windy days since it seems to be quite protected. Some guest houses on Wilderness beach offer 180 degree views. You can get this view from the beach but not from the Ocean room. As I mentioned accessing the beach is really easy.…

We had a fantastic stay at the Dunes Beach House. The room is exquisite and clean. The views are breathtaking and breakfast is superb. Gary, the owner is so helpful and friendly. We had our 18 year wedding anniversary and it will be a time never to forget. Thanks for a fabulous stay. Hope to see you again.

Thank you Gary & Rose for a wonderful stay at the Dune Beach Guest House. We were booked in the Beach Room and it was spotless, beautifully kept and the room and bathroom is abundantly spacious. Very luxurious and comfy bed and pillows with crisp clean linen. Elegantly decorated Guest House for drawing some inspiration also. What a great place to stay in Wilderness, quiet, peaceful and amazing hospitality. 10/10 will stay here again.

Dune Beach House is perfectly located right on the beach. Every room has a spectacular view of the sea. Aside from the beach, there are many other things to undertake in the vicinity like the hikes in the indigenous forest close by. The rooms and the lounges at Dune Beach House are beautifully decorated and each one on the ground floor has a patio with lounges or a balcony on the first floor. Owners and staff take great care to abide by the Covid regulations which is so important in these times.
