Beside Still Waters is such a beautiful & peaceful place to stay. The hosts Ronelle and Stephaan are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lovely cottage with 4 adults. It was very comfortable and clean. Enough space with a very nice veranda and a wonderful view of the Bo Langvlei lake. We enjoyed the amazing sunsets and birdsinging in the beautiful garden. Lots of nice things to do in the neighbourhood. Lovely beaches, the nearest is only a 5 minute drive. Very good restaurants. Nice hikes, birdwatch, kayaking. Great markets, on Wednessday @ Rondevlei and on Saturday @ Sedgefield. Highly recommended. We loved staying there.

Our family of had a wonderful 2x week holiday in the self catering unit. Very clean and comfortable. The unit has everything you need and the hosts are very friendly and helpfull. Living spaces might feel a little cramped if you are more than 4 but the beach is a quick drive away. If you enjoy nature, peace and quiet, you will love the guest house like we do.

Beautiful property with large garden and views of the vlei and greenery. Quiet area, short distance on a gravel road. Highlight was having coffee on the spacious wooden porch in the morning! Child friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts Will definitely return.

Stayed here for a night on the attic floor over the garage. Perfect size for our group of 6 with 3 Br and 2 bathrooms, good size kitchen/ dining/ sitting area. There’s a small balcony overlooking the and a full flight of steps leading to the apartment. Decor is simple but nice. Comfortable,clean with all the necessities including a CD player and a CD of the Lion King which our kids thought was a great touch. Location is great, a few min drive from the half collard king fisher trail. A few cons- low WiFi signal and Low water pressure in the showers. Otherwise it’s the most tranquil spot. We slept with our skylights open waking up to the sound of birds.

Absolutely stunning little Quaint place and very quiet. Could not braai our own way but except for that and the mozzies it was great. Beautiful place to find peace and calm. Owners very friendly and I would defiantly urge a stop over there.

We stayed for 5 month at beside still waters with our family (2 kids, 2 adults). We had an amazing time! The children had a beautiful garden to play in. Its beautifully located at the bolangvlei lake. The nearest beach is only a 5 minute drive. Also a lot of good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The cottage and the upper room are comfortable and have everything you need. Everything is properly clean. Our hosts Ronelle en Stephaan were always friendly and helpfull. We highly recommend this place when you are going to visit the garden route!

My friend and I recently slipped away for a mom's weekend away and we were fortunate enough to find "Beside Still Waters". It was just what we needed - peaceful, tranquil, quiet. We sat on the outside deck for hours just listening to the birds while looking out over the lake. I highly recommend this lovely setting if what your heart is after is serenity and peace!
